Recently bought Zelda tears of the kingdom and had really bad stick drift on both sticks (I had replaced one years ago).Tools: to be honest these three pronged screws are a pain to deal with even without the exact sizes tool. But I think the tool that comes in this kit really does strip the screw faster than my own set. So be warned! More on that later. The guitar pick and spunger(?) Work great in getting the plastic pieces apart for prying and to get the battery out. I have a pair of thin metal tweezers that worked better for some of the releasing of tabs and ribbon placements. The included plastic tweezers seem a lil big to accomplish this task very well.Joysticks: once you get everything opened up putting in these sticks are fairly simple. The ribbon might be slightly longer than the original so you might find that it bunches up a bit. One of my joysticks came with actual stick drift (imagine that!) But they sent along a replacement very quickly. As others have started, remember to recalibrate your sticks otherwise you'll think you have drift.Screw issue: so I open and closed one of my joycons multiple times to test if one of the sticks had stick drift and in the process I stripped two of the screws. I then had to purchase left hand drills to see if I could coax the screw out but basically ended up breaking off the head so I could slip half of the joycon off and then used needlenosed pliers to slowly remove the remaining screw. Again I think these are just a product of the three prong screw heads so no star deduction but man what a pain! Thankfully they give you plenty of new screws in this kit which was nice. Will update if any of my sticks fail in the future.

I had no problem installing these replacement joysticks. I replaced some old drifting sticks that I had in 3 sets of joycons without much issue. I've had to do this a few times over the years and they install the same way as any other replacement sticks.After installation, the aim felt a little off. I calibrated a few times and tried again. At one point, one of the sticks was stuck pointing to the left on the calibration screen, even though the stick itself looked to be centered. After some fiddling around with it, I got it centered and it everything looked to be working okay.After a few weeks I started to notice a little drifting. I calibrated again and it seemed to fix the issues. However, within a month, all of the GuliKit sticks that I had put into my JoyCons were drifting to the point where games were unplayable. Calibration did not help. This was after only moderate use as well, maybe only a few hours a week. I'm not sure if I got a bad set or what, but these did not fix the issue, in fact the drift was worse than the old sticks I was using.It's too bad, I was hoping these would finally be the solution to the drifting problem.
