There are few musicians whose music has indisputably advanced humanity. Reggae figurehead Bob Marley -- a songwriter, poet, activist, and visionary -- is one of them. The idea that a single-disc collection could represent the depth, breadth, and power of Marley's achievement is far-fetched, but LEGEND making Excellent attempt. Every single one of its tracks is outstanding, and the artist's different faces--revolutionary ("Get Up Stand Up"), romantic ("Is This Love"), devout Rastafarian ("Buffalo Soldier"), and prophet ("One Love/People Get Ready") are equally represented. In addition to his moving message of love and unity, Marley is a master songwriter, as the timelessness of songwriter. ongs like "Stir It Up," "I Shot the Sheriff," and the gorgeous, poignant "Redemption Song" proves. Of course, a true sampling of Marley's output would require some early ska material, the Wailer's debut (CATCH A FIRE), the definitive NATTY DREAD, and his later-opus EXODUS, but LEGEND provides a highly satisfying, if brief, overview of Marlelelele. y's genius. A record well suited to any location, season, or time of day, it has proven universal in its appeal. The music herein is as essential as air. レゲエ好きな訳ではありませんが、この人は好きなので購入。やはり素晴らしい音楽です。心がゆったりとし、リラックスに最適。ジャマイカは行ったことありませんが、こんな音楽の流れる素晴らしい国なのだろうと、勝手に想像してしまいます。迷ったら買いだと思います。

レコード盤はよい！ いいねぇ～やっぱLPは(CDも持ってるけど) 部屋の窓から海を見ながら聴いてます 田舎のしょっぱい海だけど リズムが心地よいんだよな～ CDで30年間、聴き続けたけど やっぱ、レコードの温かみって凄いわ この盤ノイズは多いけどね (昔のクラシックやジャズの録音のように)

Un disco unico, un piccolo pezzo da collezione per chi cerca una collection speciale dedicata al maestro del reggae. A differenza di quanto capitato con altri dischi acquistati su Amazon, questo è arrivato perfettamente piatto ed intatto. A volte capita che "ondeggi" un po', una volta messo sul giradischi. Qualità audio al top e nessun problema di lettura.

Bit of crackling although it is brand new sealed record. Standard in everything. Not 180 g print. Sound feels flat and lacks details . Disappointing

Muzyka Bob Marleya jak zwykle super, ale winyl pomimo że kosztuje sporo, a w tym wydaniu to tylko sama kartonowa okładka z płytą (bez żadnej wkładki), to mimo, że był zafoliowany to przyszedł porysowany :(
