Judge Dredd Volume 1 Paperback – April 23, 2013

I enjoy the judge dredd comics because it shows you more of the mega city and the more human side of the judges

This was a most amazing beginning to what I hope is a continuing series of Judge Dredd. With the movie reboot being decent and this comic being awesome, I'm glad to see the big guy return to four-color pages. What started out as a comic strip in a British mag called 2000 A.D., Judge Dredd was an instant hit to fans across the pond. Now here in the USA, we get to see new stories, new action, and new ways for Dredd to bust punks and faces.

I have only recently begun to purchase Dredd graphic novels and I really enjoyed this one. I liked the artwork,story and would recommend this to anyone looking for a jumping in point (like me). Can't wait for the Netflix Mega City One series so I will pass the time reading this series as well as other Dredd books.

I'm loving this series so far. I loathe action and the dialogue and art. This series is fantastic so far.

standard dread. great art and stories. have kindle fire and it was hard to read the print in the novel. love dread.

For a graphic comic book, the plot and story line are clever and the art work is terrific. Good, mindless entertainment.

Great intro to the series. Sets you up for future storys. Overall great book.

Considering this isn't 2000ad , IDW are treating the Dredd license with respect here. The stories could easily fit in with the wider universe, and have the right tone to them. If you like Dredd, give this a go.

Never underage judge Dredd he is a one man who lives and breaths the law, and never get in his way

IDW have done a nice job with their take on the Lawman. nice long arcing stories and nice artwork. might be a bit too childish in some places (the artstyle) but there is also plenty of gore too. less satire than in the 2000ad version of Dredd and more Americanized. but not a bad thing. Dredd is always a good thing

Loved the book.read it straight away.the art work is awesome,really liked the gallery at the back.I can't wait for the next book.
