Palanquin Masala Chai Spiced Tea (2 Pack)

I like the warm but subtle spicy overtones of this tea. It makes a great early morning cuppa, lunchtime drink or a relaxing evening beverage. Highly recommend it. Can be drunk black, with or without lemon, or white with your preferred milk.

So I brought this as it is also the one they use to make their house chai in Dishoom! And since I buy tea from there on the regular, I thought I buy my own supply. Haven't figured out how they make it exactly (volume or water and milk, etc) but taste good still.

Finally, after trying a seemingly endless number of Masala Chai products from various sources in a desperate hunt to recreate a taste that I experienced on holiday, a pretty close match. There's a strong enough tea flavour but a suitably robust level of spice. I've had everything from insipid dishwater and exuberant blends containing rose petals through to extreme black pepper overload. This one gets it closer than any other I have tried. It's just far too expensive.

Tastes of nothing. I've tried making it in every way I can think with various quantities of milk and tea and teabags and sugar. The tea smells nice, but it has no taste. It's like drinking boiled water.
