The first model to come out of Walter Hoy’s workshop in 1944, the original Salt-Water Sandal is defined by its little way stitched rubber sole and plaited leather upper. The tan Salt-Water was the first sandal to be made from scrap leather, the original original! It is a simple, versatile classic and looks lovely on all skin tones. All Salt-Waters come with rust proof buckles, can be worn in the water and can be handwashed with a gentle detergent. They go from childrens all the way through to adult sizes. They are comfortable, durable and we think beautiful.

Fresh, honest; a natural design
The design, colour and materials work well - a super sandal for me, the fit is excellent;so pleased to find Saltwater on this site. I have yet to try them in a downpour or near the sea: Something to feel grateful for.A lovely product that has had lots of praise.

Good fit
I was looking for something like the Playdeck sandals I wore in my youth; these are not exactly the same but are close.

Last for years
I've got two pairs of these and have worn them all summer for the last five years, they are so comfortable and still going strong, they just never wear out. I'm a size 5 UK so get a 6 in seasalt Sandals. Can't go wrong.
