Q-tips Swabs Travel Pack 30 Each

Great to take with me on my travels.

I am pleased to find these. Q-tips/Cotton buds are easy to find but I specifically wanted some that did not have a plastic stem. The stems of these are made from tightly-rolled paper. According to the information on the package these can be composted. I do not know if my local council would accept then in my food waste, so I do not throw them there. For personal use these are as good as any cotton-buds that I have used and better than some. I would not use cotton buds for cleaning electronic items or parts of my printer, as they can leave cotton strands which can cause problems. For jobs such as that I use fibre-free cleaning buds specifically designed for that purpose.

I can confirm these work great with iso alcohol to clean retro gaming items, such as the contacts on cartridge games and controllers

Can these really be bad?

High quality q-banger cleaners.

The seller sent material in different packaging to what was advertised. However, it is unfair to rate it low as what was sent was the same brand, but only in different packaging. Although I preferred to have received it in the packaging advertised (cardboard drawer which can be re-shut and therefore keeps swabs dry/clean and away from dust, etc.), what was sent was in larger quantity (at the same price). On top of that, the seller got in touch with me following my initial comment and expressed a genuine desire to resolve. Since there was nothing to resolve: net-net I was happy, I decided to upgrade my rating. They clearly care about customer feedback and do respond promptly. I am upgrading from 2 stars to 4.

The container is the only reason I purchased these and it is great.

I recently tried another brand of cotton swab. Having only ever purchased Q-Tips my entire life, I was not expecting such abysmal results. My only reason for trying another brand was one of pure vanity. I had purchased a new glass jar set for my bathroom with bamboo lids and a bamboo tray. I thought I’d buy some bamboo swabs for one of those jars. But as it turned out, those swabs were smaller in size, not as thick, not at all absorbent, and worst of all, they were not at all soft. I found just one use for them — cleaning under my nails — but even that task was accomplished better using Q-Tips. I’m actually glad I tried this one time. Now I know that the brand my mother raised me on and that I still use to this day is the very best swab out there! Best quality, best price, and it’s thicker, softer, and gentler than any potential competitor.

Definitely one of the best quality stops ever ! I really like how they feel in the ear and how smoothly they turn. These are also great for makeup usage both applying and removing ! I really like the packaging of this travel size ! They fit in a side pouch of my backpack and my pocketbook ! Worth buying because when you run out you can reuse the packaging for any brand of tips !
