Huge light box with decent light output at a great price point
TL;DR: If you want a giant light box that puts out decent lighting at a great price, then this is the light box for you. ***The cons listed below are definitely not deal breakers for me and probably won't mean much to you if you're not into photography and just want something to up your photo game for your side hustle!***Pros-Decent light output for size-Can fit really big items including children and large electronics without issue-Affordable price-Multiple backdrop colors-Collapses down into bag and can be hidden away with relative easeCons:-Could come with one more LED strip for ultimate reduction in shadows-Baffle knocks lighting down by 2-3 full stops-Silver reflective sides can sometimes be in photo if not shooting in square ratio-Backdrop seems a bit long and instructions aren't optimal for seamless backdropSIZE: As a typical impulse shopper that sometimes suffers from analysis paralysis, I had decided after about a month of reading reviews on all sorts of light boxes, that 24x24x24 wasn't big enough and needed the biggest I could find that still had good reviews. I also didn't want the hassle of needing to buy another one down the road or returning it because I needed a larger one so I went with this one and am pleased with the results.Once assembled, this thing is fricking YUGE. We have the space for it so I am happy that I went up in size. If you do not plan to take photos of anything large like car parts, large table lamps, or small children and you need something that can take up the least amount of space as possible while assembled, this is probably not the best size for your needs. Plates of food and jewelry/small trinkets would probably be better off in the next size down.SET UP/INSTRUCTIONS: The directions are pretty straightforward and assembly is fairly simple, but because of its size, this is not a one person job unless you are 6'3" and have the arm span of an albatross and the patience of a saint. I am only 5'5" and have the patience of a hangry preschooler so I had to have my fiance come help me within five minutes of assembling the frame and struggling to zip the box assembly without it falling off.One thing I will note with the directions--if you want this to appear as a seamless background, do NOT run the backdrop behind the bar as indicated with the instructions. In fact, I didn't even tuck it behind the little flap up top because that still doesn't give me the true seamless look that I want and the backdrop actually seemed too long to even do that without creating random wrinkles. I have the backdrop tucked under one of the upper frames to give the bottom a larger radius (rounded) corner for a true seamless without needing to edit anything.FUNCTION: This comes with two LED light bars. Lighting placement will change the location of your shadows so you will need to play around with this until you find a set up that satisfies you. In the two sample photos I've attached, light #1 is positioned about 2" closer to the backside from the top middle with it angled two clicks towards the back and light #2 is actually attached on the front side frame, about 10" from the top, angled close to 45 degrees down so the light falls off a few inches in front of the subject.I do not have the front panel zipped down, it is just folded on top so I'm sure that I would be able to get slightly more light output if I zipped it shut and shot the photos from the smaller opening. I prefer to be able to shoot more head on so I am ok with losing some output since my camera (and most phone cameras) are capable of making up for that without the photos becoming grainy. As you can see in the photos, one background is a crisp white while the other is almost a very faint gray. Same background, different settings and the baffle is inserted on the light blue shoes photo in order to capture the most accurate colors and prevent highlight blowouts on the lighter color. The darker background can still easily be corrected using an app on your phone that will prevent color blow out so the extra five seconds of editing is worth the accurate colors. Both photos taken with auto mode on a Samsung Galaxy Note 8 using the brightness slider after tapping on my desired focal point. IF YOU MOVE AFTER TAPPING ON YOUR FOCAL POINT, YOUR PHOTO WILL BE BLURRY. Auto mode functions almost identically on all newer Androids and iPhones so hopefully this tip helps someone out there understand how to get themselves the best photos from their phone without thinking they need a DSLR they don't really need. You can also put your phone's camera into 1x1/square mode because most people browse from their phones and *all* buy/sell apps (Ebay, Etsy, Poshmark, Mercari, FB Marketplace, etc.) all show square mode from the main listing unless the photos are clicked on for some (Poshmark is square ratio only). Square mode will also prevent the silver reflective sides from being captured in the photo depending on how far back you're taking the photo.

Absolutely brilliant
I came across this from a recommendation. I already have a lightbox but the one I was using wasn’t bright enough and the light built into the top was always showing up in my photos so needless to say, it was causing me some problems. When I received this, I was skeptical of the size listed because surely it couldn’t be that tall, right? WRONG. It is very much as tall as you think it might be, yet somehow it’s not bulky. Go figure.I read reviews that this was difficult to put together by yourself but I’ve been putting things together on my own for years so I took the bet. The frame was very easy to assemble since it’s literally a square. Lights took mere seconds to install since they clip onto the frame. Getting the cover took a couple tries to get the right spot to zip up everything but once I figured out the correct side, it was a breeze. Getting the connections plugged into the lights took a little maneuvering but even that wasn’t too hard.I love that there are three different places to take pictures from so you get a variety of angles. The lights are so bright and the fact that you can adjust them in any way to suit your needs is fabulous.I didn’t try out the backgrounds or the light diffuser but I’m definitely looking forward to trying them in the future. All in all, even with having to fix some small mistakes, setting up this box took me about 15 minutes and taking it apart to put in the carrying bag took only a few more. I have limited space so I can’t set up camp with this thing all the time but it’s easy enough to set up and break down that it won’t be too much of a hassle. This is a great purchase that I’m going to be getting a lot of use from.

A great lighting box for my needs
This is the second one of these that I have used at two different workplaces. Setup is fairly straightforward though zipping the cover over the frame is a bit tight. You'll want to be aware of where you are planning to have the lighting wires exit the cover so that they are at the endpoints of the zippers.I am very happy with the lighting, it is easy to position and adjust, the dimming works well, and the light quality is a nice pure white. It would be nice to have a master on/off switch on the light as adjusting the dial from 100% to 0% to turn the light on and off is a slight hassle. The two light strips are on a single controller and while the lights can be repositioned, I think it would be really nice to be able to purchase a second light set in order to give greater control on foreground and background lighting levels independently. Currently the lighting kit is not available for purchase separately. There is a large flap on the front that can be removed for shooting with a normal tripod, there is also a small port on the top that can be removed for shooting from a camera stand. I made a frame using 1.5" PVC tubing and plumbing elbows from HD and used a clamping adapter threaded to my camera for downward shots.I purchased the 32" version and photograph smaller items, if you have the space I would recommend the largest size that you can fit/afford.

Velcro did not last
2 big problems:- The backdrop can be installed using Velcro. However, it does not stick on the surface. I've installed mine and the next day, it was lying on the floor!- the metal frame is a little bit too big. I was not able to completely zip the cover. I end up with gaps in the box.Given the price, I don't recommend this product.

not bright enough
Not bright enough. You'll need extra lights to take high quality pictures.

It’s big!
Comes in a decent carry bag, assembly is easy enough but make sure you have plenty of room because the one metre cube is BIG. It comes with spare plastic corners, just in case, but it is pretty robust.Lighting fixtures are good but you could really do with an extra one at least for something this size and preferably two more to give more options. I couldn’t find anywhere on line to purchase extras so this would be a good addition if the supplier is reading thisOtherwise I am glad I went for the bigger unit so I can now properly photograph my larger art pieces.

Fantastic light box, great quality
The media could not be loaded. Brilliant light box. It's huge, yes a dog can fit easily in it. Really well made, put together easily, reading instructions after, of course! Makes my art and crafts look fab, what a difference to using lights and backgrounds, so much easier. You do need space once it is up and your pets will go in it to check it out! She's a pomeranian, very little, in case you thought she was a husky!

New design is better.
Edit. The customer service is very good, they send an updated design as replacement and it works very well.**********I purchased the 100x100x100 model, and how anyone managed the keep the paper going by the instructions is beyond me, it defies logic, the instruction manual is very poor.Any instructional video out there that I can find skips this step and as if by magic they get the paper up.Edit:I have decided to return this item:The instructions are poor, it's not really folding if you have to take everything apart and unzip everything.Paper doesn't hold up as per instructions, takes way too long to setup.
