I have had acid reflux for a very long time, it got to the point where there was burning behind my neck, in my chest, pain in my shoulder and arm. At one point I thought I was having a heart attack. I started doing a bit of research and came up on an article about GERD listing all of the symptoms I was experiencing (ha! Ms. Self Diagnosis). In the article these pills were recommended and I thought why not. The first day I was able to eat with no excessive burning pains, and OMG... After almost a year I was able to sleep through the night without being woken up by the burning behind my neck and head, in my chest etc. This is my 4th day (also 4th day of an awesome night's sleep without having to take medicine to get to or stay asleep), and it has been great. I still feel a minimal amount of burning in my chest but after almost a year of severe reflux I know it's probably some damage that needs to heal. I can't rave about these pills enough, just once a day one hour before breakfast, I also would recommend ending your eating cycle at least 3- 4 hours before bed as well. So far so good, and as a side note, in the last 2 days without the reflux I have had an increase in energy, my eyesight that was decreasing in my right eyes has improved (no longer burning in my head). And my sinuses are starting to clear up, which means all the facial puffiness is reduced as well (seriously didn't know acid reflux could get so bad and do all of this). So give it a try you won't be sorry and be sure to follow up with your doctor. Which I will be doing soon.

This is what I like about Zegerid. The proton pump inhibitors do block acid production but it takes time to work. Zegerid is a combination of omeprazole and bicarbonate, which is fast acting, meaning fast relief and 24 hour relief. goor product.

Zegarid is the only medication that works for my reflux. I have tried the prescription meds and the other over the counter meds, but this works a lot better for me.

Only acid reducer that works for my spouse

I've had bouts of heartburn since I turned 35 and nothing seems to help... until a friend recommended zegrid. Holy cow did this stuff work IMMEDIATELY! I was skeptical as nothing seemed to work before but this stuff kicked in in under 2 minutes and provided legit relief and neutralizes acid better than anything I have tried. 10/10 recommend
