Ultimate Matrix Collection, The (BD) [Blu-ray]

Got this to catch up on the trilogy before watching resurrections in theaters. While I don’t feel it is “true” 4K/blu ray, it is definitely higher def. Very happy with my purchase - and even more so at the price.

I had a Matrix itch and was lucky I found this item. Everything in the description is exactly how it arrived. Came all the way from the other side of the country but delivered as promised.

I believe this movie will stand the test of time. It is with out a doubt a master piece. It tells a story that may just be relevant to us in this day and time in which we live.

2 disc dvd was everything i expected and more.

I purchased this DVD in the wake of a recommendation, and thoroughly enjoyed it upon revisiting this classic sci fi classic. In my case, the recommendation came via an interview concerning my favorite movie of all times, Ender's Game. In an interview I saw featuring Asa Butterfield who is a totally cool and awesome actor, he mentioned that he is a sci fi fan and the Matrix was his favorite movie; so I figured I ought to get my own copy of this movie to revisit it, as I had seen it years ago already. I was glad that I obtained this DVD, as in watching it again so many years later I really enjoyed it with greater understanding and appreciation. Thanks, Asa!

La edición ya tiene sus años, a diferencia del lanzamiento más reciente, no viene con Matrix 4, pero sí con Animatrix y un montón de horas de contenido extra en otro DVD

Bought this to replace the DVD version I already owned. Came as expected.

Già nel 1999 i fratelli (ora sorelle) Wachowski hanno creato un capolavoro basato sui computer e la possibilità che la IA potesse seppellirci e ridurci alla pila duracell che mostra Morpheus. Per vedere questo film occorre avere come minimo la patente europea del computer(non scherzo) per capire i dialoghi tecnici della sceneggiatura.Le parole "caricamento", "struttura", "programma", "macchina" fanno èparte del lessico del conoscitore dei pc.Chi aveva almeno 16 anni e aveva un pc aveva scaricato lo screensaver di Matrix fatto dal sistema binario di cui sono fatte le stringhe di programma di cui sono fatti i programmi odierni.

Sul film in sè non mi esprimo, essendo dinnanzi a un capolavoro. Mi limito a segnalare in questa recensione l’ottima qualità/prezzo del prodotto: la steelbook è il classico case di metallo, con l’immagine anteriore di una pallottola e con scritte posteriori (trama, attori, durata...) stampate su un foglio aderente a rimozione; quanto al disco, questo presenta un’ottima qualità video e un discreto audio con traccia italiana in dolby digital. Per 8 euro mi sento di consigliare caldamente l’acquisto, qualora non si abbia già il film in questione nella propria videoteca.
