I received my order of two 3/4"x 2"x 18" walnut boards today, and everything was exactly as expected. The grain isn't straight this time (as it has been in the past) but honestly I kind of like it better than straight grain. The grain pattern looks amazing (see photos). No knots, warps, tearout, etc. Exact dimensions exactly as advertised. They're great pieces of walnut. Honestly, you can't go wrong with this stuff. You get exactly what you expect to get, and it's reliable. I built a plane till out of my last shipment and it all went together perfectly and looks great.

So I’m an amateur woodworker (at best) and this was the first walnut wood set I’ve ordered. Everything looks great, dimensions are spot on but you can notice the slight bow in the boards which will make it a little tougher to work with. Otherwise, happy with the purchase.

Slightly warped 24" boards. They almost look and feel ashy. Not talking about ash wood, either. Any dryer and they might have started to char. I'm sure they will suck up the oil. I won't be back with a larger order.

Used this as a stretcher in a console table and it is an absolutely gorgeous piece of wood. Very nicely finished even for an S4S board
