These things work great! I was having to backwash my sand filter two or three times a week. I have been using these a few weeks now and have not had to backwash one time. I was also having a problem with algae. I no longer have any problems. My pool is clean and clear as can be. I read in the reviews that a lot of people said to wash them first. I did not do that and have not had an issue. Also, it says they are equal to 50 pounds of sand. I usually only need about 25 pounds of sand, but I put all of the balls in to fill it to the level it was supposed to be filled. I have not had any issues with the pressure or anything in doing this. It seems to be fine. I am so happy I bought these and recommend them to anyone.

I bought these last year and they worked great so I got them again this year. SO much better than sand and so easy and affordable! You won’t be disappointed buying these. I have a 10,000 above ground pool and they filter very well. The sand was always expensive where I live and I had to flush it every day. Not with this stuff. Highly recommend

Great filter, purchased for my above ground pool. It clear my algae problem and it has kept my pool water clear. The pump that my pool came with wasn’t clearing the algae so I had to upgrade. Best choice I’ve made.

Waited through the summer to write a review. And I’ll say we love them. They seem to work just as good if not better than the sand did for us. No leaks, easy to install. We would recommend

These are white pom-Pom's made from very inexpensive yarn. They are made from such inexpensive material that they never sink, they do not absorb water, they have no qualities that make oils or debris attract to them. They are essentially a filler for the pools filter or sand. Whats worse is I have both and a skimmer with a filter they did not work with any item. They were a total waste of money, well, I had a snowball fight with my dogs with the balls. They seemed to enjoy it.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I love this product! I have fought my pool being green since the beginning of spring. I have used shocks, algicide, bleach, chlorine, and baking soda. I replaced my sand in the filter with these and within 2 days I could see through the water and the green was mostly gone. They are easy and washable. We will never go back to sand or a normal filter pool!
