It most certainly does work as one, Lad. Me great great grandfather used to have one, he lost it down by the bog one day. But, we keep one of these handy just in case that wee bitty leprechaun does come back.

Only 1 clip per pin

I wasn’t paying attention and installed 2 spring clips per pin until I ran out half way through the pins. And once in they don’t come out the pins do their job without the clips so it didn’t stop my job
