Brilliant keyboard with hibernate button but expensive and one major flaw!
This is one of the very good keyboards out there which does it everything right for the typical non-gaming but high intensity computer user. The primary plus points:1. The keyboard does not waste space around it. So it is quite space saving. Wireless + Compact great combination.2. Additional keys for music and muting is great but the icing on the cake it the on-board hibernate button. Rushing out, hitting bed, just one press and the system is put off the hibernate. I hardly switch off my PC, may be twice a month for the overall health of the PC but this one key makes life super easy especially when you are dashing out of your home or office and want to quickly (super quickly) put the system off to hibernate mode.3. The mouse design is very ergonomic and quite responsive and does need any pad to be used. Two drawbacks -1. Across the world, good technology stuff which has been in the market, the price is competitive. At over 2k, this is quite expensive.2. After 3 years of use, the mouse scroll is not smooth, which I understand is normal wear and tear. Took it to the Dell service center and they said they cannot do anything and I have to buy a new mouse.3. Worst thing ever. Why is Dell making the USB receiver unique to each keyboard and mouse combo? This means, if I buy the same model of mouse from Dell, I will lose one more USB port to plug in one more receiver. If I wish to save the USB port then I have to throw away my perfectly working keyboard, else 2 USB ports are wasted. If this is a technology constraint and surprised that such an issue cannot be sorted by a technology giant as I understand this is an industry wide process.
