Well, what is there to say. These are so well-made and so unbelievably great. I ended up purchasing two more as gifts. I also purchased the holder that they go in. They look so elegant on your counter, or wherever else you might put them. Well-made, heavy Works great. Love the light easy to operate.“By the best and only cry once”

Upfront I'll admit that I'm the worst at assembling anything. Putting the salt mill together was really difficult. I watched the video, which was not helpful at all. I went to YouTube, which also didn't help. I got help from a friend who is brilliant with putting things together. It was hard for her to separate the two parts in order to install the batteries and the salt. We did it though. It works great. It's easy to choose between fine or coarse or something in the middle. They are easy to operate. I love being able to have freshly-milled salt. Be careful when you open the box not to forget the little black square tray to put them in. You'll want that. I also got the stainless one that holds both salt and pepper as well. I just tried it. My food was better with freshly-ground salt and pepper. Worth the effort.

I make golden paste a couple times a month. A crucial ingredient of the recipe is 2-3 teaspoons of freshly ground pepper. 2-3 teaspoons of ground pepper is not easy with a hand grinder. Another electric grinder I had put out an inconsistent grind, and did not have a consistent output of pepper. It took the same amount of time to grind the pepper as the non electric grinder, I just didn't have to grind. No better in my opinion. This one, though expensive is the goat! It does what it says. There is a consistent output of pepper, on going if I hold the button, and I can choose the grind size, and its fast. If I had to find something to improve, I guess I would say the reservoir where you put in the peppercorns is small, needing to refill often. And there is a little extra ground pepper that comes out after you finish grinding. However, even with those details, if you are looking for a good pepper grinder and want it conisitan and effortless, this is the product for you. It does not disappoint and its worth the cost.

Works great until you have to change the batteries…

It works well with the pepper and salt included in the set.Also, make sure you know the salt one only works well withdry rock / mineral type of salt ONLY and does not work on wet saltlike what I bought for which is Maldon Salt.With Maldon salt, it does not grind (1-3 will not grind. more coarse levels willallow some salt to pass through but it's way inefficient and slow to use with wet salt)Other than that, the build quality is OK.It could've been better cause I see some plastic part that's not totally cut cleaninside which does not meet the pricing or the premium image this product was giving.It also uses 6 aaa batteries so expect some heavy weight.Other than those minor cons,it functions as intended. They grind whole pepper anddry salt pretty well.The packaging is very well done but I wish they had better quality controland finishing touches on the actual product (the plastic parts).

It makes food more delicious.

Replacing a more generic less costly pepper mill. Had a difficult time sorting through all the reviews for all the different grinders, but settled on the Peugeot. 7 months latter and I’m super happy I got this one. Great heft and feel to it. Very easy to activate the grinder button on top, our old one required more pressure from your finger to get it to grind. The burrs are great, and the different coarseness it creates is more diverse than our prior one as well. Overall it feels a step up in design and build. We use it daily and it’s a true delight.

Like the adjustable grinds; use one for cooking and another for finishing. And one can adjust the pepper seasoning to adjust the grounds further. Battery life ok but one should buy a total replacement of 6 AAA so you always are prepared. The light is handy and one can see the size of the grounds; important on salads and soups. We love it!
