No regrets on buying thisDon't expect it to come in a box however, it'll come in a simple FACTORY SEALED plastic bag, which is fine by me, which leads me to believe they were packed for RMA replacements, and has worked flawlessly since the day I got it. Have not had any issues with contact between the pins and contacts so no worries about it not charging when you place your 3DS XL on it. All in all... If you want a dock for your 3DS XL, get this.

My wife's 3DS XL has a bad charger port. I tried different chargers and it's definitely a bad port. I'm not great with soldering and we didn't want to buy a whole new system so we tried one of these docks so it would charge by the metal pads instead of the plug. It's been working great for a month or so! Plus it's way easier than plugging in a cable anyway!I did have to clean the metal pads with some alcohol to get it to connect because her 3DS had never used the pads so they were a little dirty.Definitely recommended!

I have a 3Ds XL with a broken charger port, and I purchased this item to help me fix that issue. When the item arrived, it did not work at all. I tried it with 2 different chargers, nothing. I don't know if this was just a mess up, but its kinda upsetting :/.

It works! Extremely happy; Either my charger or port messed up but stumbled on this...I was a bit hesitant because I kept reading that the “XL” 3DS doesn’t have a charging dock. But luckily this worked like a charm..it fits perfectly! I have a 2014 Nintendo 3DS Retro NES edition XL

My kids have bad habits of playing games and charging at the same time. This prevents that. My 6 year old is autistic and I bought this one specifically for him. It is so handy and easy for him to use. No frustrations or outbursts here!

I like that I can grab it and go without having to unplug it all the time and not letting the charging port wear out like my last 3DS did.

I liked it because it saved a lot of money trying to fix the charging port on the device. It is simply and easy to use as well as a lot cheaper than replacing or repairing the device.
