Upgrade worth it!
My Whoop has been a game-changer for my health, performance, and overall lifestyle. I am a trainer and work at a bar so late nights and early mornings are unavoidable sometimes days. My whoop has made a huge difference in how I pay attention to my sleep and recovery. I started with whoop almost a year ago and loved it. Was super excited about this new band and haven’t been disappointed. The new insights and tools this band provide are amazing and with the 14 day battery life I would say this upgrade is completely worth it.Knowing when to push harder or when to prioritize rest has been massive for me. And most wearables I never trusted but with whoop I would say we are on the same page 90% of the time. The daily strain and recovery metrics keep me on track with my goals, and the sleep tracking has significantly improved my quality of rest / knowing when I need to program in a nap.Whoop has helped me unlock a more intentional, optimized, and balanced version of myself. The accountability it brings is unmatched, and the long-term trends it provides have been key to sustaining high performance without burnout!

Spendy but well worth every $.
I purchased this for myself as I am working toward a more healthful life and it was recommended by family members. At first, I struggled with the annual subscription $; however, after using it for over a month now, I am amazed at the amount of data and recommendations for improvements in my health. It even has what is called "Healthspan" which predicts your actual age versus chronologic age based on your health data. Each day, the user is able to recieve a summary of past 24 hours as well as what improvements can be made in the future to positively affect the user's Healthspan.I had Fitbits for at least at least 13 years and this is an absolute game changer! Well worth the $$ based on the changes I have already been able to make in just over a month's time. It is recommended to keep the tracker on at all times, including showering. It is a bit awkward recharging because the charger actually is applied to the tracker and it charges while you are on the move (I didn't know this at first).I did change the original mesh wristband for a silicone replacement because I didn't like wearing a wet band after showering. This is only a personal preference and I don't think it should be considered a negative to the overall product, but feel others should be aware. Finally, similar to Fitbit, there are communities which the user can join to encourage improvement. You can also create a new community as my family did, so we can compete against each other while obtaining positive health benefits. New communities can be shared with others by simply sending a code and, again, very easy. In my opinion this is a very well made product that can definitely lead to improved health and wellness!

Don’t waste your money.
Uncomfortable, expensive, and unreliable. Whoop has a decent product that offers somewhat valuable data that you may or may not use. First off the band is just flat out uncomfortable to wear. It’s kinda big and the band really irritates my skin. This step counter is really unreliable because it misses most of my workouts and the HR is VERY INACCURATE. Now for the icing on the cake. The price. These greedy people really think charging that much money annually is a good value for its customers? They couldn’t even provide us with a comfortable band that provides ACCURATE data. This is not worth the outrageous price tag,

Everything I need
I'm 42 and in relatively good health, but like many people, I sometimes let stress, poor sleep, or diet slide under the radar. Since I started using the Whoop, that’s completely changed. The whoop has been a game-changer for me.From day one, I noticed how much more aware I became of my overall well-being. It’s not just about tracking steps or calories—it gives deep insights into my stress levels, sleep quality, recovery, and strain. I now pay attention to things I used to ignore, and that awareness has helped me make meaningful improvements in my daily habits.Because of Whoop, I’m more consistent with my workouts and making smarter choices when it comes to nutrition and recovery. I’ve tried other smartwatches and health apps over the years, but nothing has had this kind of impact. Whoop stands out because it’s focused not just on activity, but on optimizing health—and it does that better than anything I’ve used so far.Highly recommend it to anyone looking to take their physical and mental well-being to the next level.

So far, so good!
Ordered on May 08 and received on May 09. Setup went flawlessly and I've been wearing continuously, received my first Healthspan Update this morning and looking forward to the weekly (Sunday) updates. I'm a new Whoop user so no preconceptions, still using my Apple Watch 9 and 10 and sending their data to Whoop. Previously used Fitbit since 2012 thru 2024, mostly for steps, walking, and general health data. So for my uses Whoop replaces Fitbit, Apple Watch is in a category of its own. I'm not pleased with a replacement Whoop strap I bought but that's for a separate review of the strap. Otherwise finding my Whoop 5.0 MG useful and the so far limited data results interesting. My understanding is full utility will come after 90 wears, or by my calculations not until four months of use say September first 2025 (Labor Day Monday in the USA this year). I plan or reporting more after then unless I run into a problem sooner.Konrad.

Terrific fitness and health insights
Been using the WHOOP 5.0 for about three weeks and I am loving it so far. The fitness and health insights are next level... especially when it comes to stress and recovery tracking. The Strain Coach really helps me know when to push myself or take it easy. It’s also been great for accountability. I find myself making better choices just by checking the app each day. I wear it 24/7 and honestly feel more in tune with my body than ever before. Highly recommend.
