Looks good, though out of sync
Size and shape are good. The 1 is got is not quite functional. This morning all weather apps and my wall thermometer outside all said it was 26°-28° degrees. I installed this thermometer yesterday. This morning it said 41°. Currently it's 55° outside and it says 60°. At first I thought it was just around 10° off but it seems that's not right either. On a side note I wish the numbers and pointer were a bit larger.

What I wanted but a little cheaply made
A used truck I purchased does not have an indication of outside air temp on the instrument cluster like most newer cars do (this is simply a readout of the air temp taken at the intake plenum, data used by the ECM to determine fuel/air mixture. I wanted a small thermometer to mount on the rearview mirror. There are a number of electronic ones on the market but these require wiring from the outside sensor to the inside display--overly complex and I didn't want to crap up the look of the panel. This one fills the bill well, it's quite small but, sitting at my left elbow, is close enough to read easily through the window. I used additional glue as the foam glue pad struck me as inadequate. When sitting in the sun parked, it does read high but soon shows the correct temp once I start to drive. The only problem I see with it is that it is rather cheaply made of thin plastic. We'll see how long it lasts.

Not very good
The thermometer is very inaccurate. It read 80 degrees when it arrived and it seems to like that number. It does change temperature with the weather but is not reliable. It is also poorly designed because it is very difficult to read when stuck to the mirror.

It sticks
I have a 23 year old Land Rover without a thermometer andI really need one when the temperature is close to freezing. I finally thought of getting a stick on thermometer. I was wondering if there was such a thing and-bingo, there it was on Amazon! My husband put it on the lower inside corner of my rear view mirror and it remains there despite freeway driving, snow or rain.

Hard to read.
This item seems well made and I have just had it for a few days. Here is what I noticed. The dial is very cluttered and as such it is very hard to read. They have tried to put too much info on a small surface. It is hard to read when driving you just cannot just glance at it because the pointer is hidden by the numbers on the dial.

Easy to install and read, just not very accurate. It's reads about 10-15° hotter than it actually is.Of course it's stuck onto my mirror and I can't get it off. Very dissatisfied.UPDATE:Just when I thought it couldn't get any worse. Ok, I've had this exposed to multiple temperatures. Below freezing to mid-seventies. This morning it was 15 degrees here in Michigan. This POS for a thermometer said mid fifties. Alright, the sun was hitting it, but come on!!!! I've bought ALOT of cheap stuff on Amazon. Most of the time I get lucky and it actually works. The other part of the time, I wish I wouldn't have wasted my time. But this time???? This is, by far, the worst product that I've ever seen. The only thing that might top it is when I once ordered a padlock.....and the key was locked onto it......through the hole at the top of the key. Seriously???But this little Thermometer is complete JUNK. I wouldn't pay for it if it was free!!

Low tech car thermometer
Works just like the large round outdoor thermometers for the home. Tested it for accuracy and it was right on. Have not had it long so I don't know how it will hold up. Has vent holes in the back. Will ice and snow get inside and foul it up? Time will tell.
