Lamson HotHandle, 6" x 1.5", Red, Silicone

I purchased this handle cover for my winco 14" carbon steel wok. Initially, I didn't think this was going to fit at all. Then I read online that you need to apply rubbing alcohol to the handle before installing it. When I did that, it slid on like a charm and now fits nice and snug! Don't return yours until you've tried rubbing alcohol!

This silicone handle consistency slips and slides off of the wok that I use to cook in everyday. It creates a big problem because it is very difficult to slide back into place when the handle is extremely hot.

I use this on my wok. Fits snug and won't slip. It can get hot to the touch at the base with high temperature cooking.

It still gets really HOT when your cast iron is hot. I would not buy this again

I bought this silicone handle for my carbon steel 12" wok. I was a little concerned that it wouldn't fit. I was wrong, it fits all right, it's a little tight and needed some force to get on, but it is on there for good! Now I can cook with high heat and not burn my finger prints off.

This is a must have if you have a cast iron skillet or any pot that the handles become hot

works great protects from the heat with no worries.
