Worked great on my Dell Precision M4800 I'd advise everyone to buy these new thru the dell store and not get tgem used on ebay. These power packs supply not only voltage to charge the battery but also data info about the charge wattage and voltage to the laptop to estimate time to charge. If the data signal is missing, the laptop will either get a boot error/not boot or run slow in low power mode. I bought a cheepie one off ebay and know. Now my laptop boots super fast and runs fast in full power mode. Don't try to save a few $$ on these, its worth getting a new one from the dell store.

I was hoping for a more modern and streamlined brick to go in my travel bag and the 7730 Precision mobile workstation. Sadly this one is bigger & heavier than the ones that shipped with computer and also the Dell docking station. This will end up replacing one of those, and a lighter "original" brick will get to go travelling. The 7730 is no lightweight to start with, has a couple hours usable battery life under ideal power settings, so maybe the original brick is really an expected curse. The workstation performance will never be power-stingy regardless, and the fact that it has a battery is icing in the big performance picture. Will my 7+ lb workstation be crippled by carrying this oversized 240W brick? I'm tempted to risk throwing the charging brick in checked luggage instead of my computer bag, and to hell with the weight... The bag weighs almost 30lbs with two computers and a tablet inside already. I'll risk the separation for the weight. #firstworldproblems

So I work from home, and my laptop was provided to me by my boss. It's a very nice, very expensive laptop that has always worked beautifully for me. Until one day when the charger got messed up. So I searched high and low to find a new one before my boss had a chance to figure it out and decide he wanted to ruin my life for breaking his stuff. (I swear it was an accident!) Then I came across this one. Very low price compared to other sites. Product is as described...as pictured. It's just as good as the original charger! And it saved me from some big trouble at work. Lol. I'd recommend it for sure. Assembly is simple. Charger lights up a pretty blue when it's on so it let's you know if its powered up or not. Compatible with my laptop.

Exactly what I needed for my Alienware

Ordered one, stuck it in my backpack, since I bought it as a travelling power pack, not for normal every day use. First time I tried using it, the ring didn't light up, no power sent to the system. Every company has a bad item here and there. Dropped it off via UPS today, and ordered another. I'll revise my review when I get the new one and confirm it works. I'll probably switch it with my every day one to be able to check the longevity of the product also. All that being said, dell wants $170 for the same part, a power pack! Jeez. So hopefully this one at $88 does the trick, still a little high in my opinion for a power pack, but worth every penny if it does the job. Replacement came. Seems to work is genuine Dell replacement. Upped rating from 1 to 3 stars. Made this my primary power supply for review purposes. Best my review will be is 4 because of quality issue.

Works With My Del Alienware 15 r3. They also gave two set of power cords that meets the Indian and USA outlet

This is a very nice product. Good value for money. I bought this for my Dell precision m6800 and it works as expected. Nice product. But the only minus point is that it does not come with a power cord so I had to buy one. Other than that this is a nice product.

The model delivered to me work perfectly with my Alienware 17 R3.
