Great for flies I guess.
I was trying to stop wood lice crawling around the loft. I thought I might be able to use these along the floor. Nope, they are only for hanging. Very sticky that's for sure.

Very difficult to 'unpack'.
Very difficult to remove from packaging resulting in tears to the paper. Too much curl in the product to hang effectively.

Buy these not the cheap version!
Sticky, disgusting things to use BUT ... I bought these and a cheaper brand. I hung one of each 50cms apart. This brand has nabbed 18 flies in five hours, the cheapo has caught only 2! Longer, thicker and stickier than the cheap equivalent.. do yourself a favour and spend the extra couple of quid.

Works
Attracts a lot of fly in my shed. Need to hang it up before undoing it.

Very effective
I found these to be great. I have a big problem flies in the summer, Very sticky so no escaping for the flies. A bit tricky to hang up do had to hang them again the door .I would buy these again.
