I do not recommend this solar charger. I bought it for a trip to Australia and it doesn't get a single bit of life from full days in full sunshine here, so the solar part is a completely useless gimmick. It won't charge my phone at all from the sun. I have tried plugging it into mains power for more than 24 hours and it still only shows a couple of bars of battery, enough to charge a phone yes but not exactly useful when you are on the move as it charges soooo slowly. I'm going to give up on it and just buy a smaller battery charger holds more juice and charges quickly, without pretending to get any power from the sun. Don't waste your time and money like I did.

Whenever we go camping these days, the first question my family asks is always "is there wifi?" followed by "how do we charge our iPads and phones?" This solar charger is the perfect solution whenever we find ourselves without the modern amenities of electricity. It doesn't give you wifi but at least you can charge your precious portable products without an electric socket. The solar cell is powerful enough to charge the battery, even under the overcast British skies and it provides enough juice for a phone or two and an iPad. Great thing is that it is constantly recharging so you always have a charge. The powerbank is waterproof, meaning you can leave it outside, even in the rain. We use it to charge the USB chargeable lamp as well. Great value for money.

bought it for its solar charging but Charging by solar panel doesnt work at all. so dissapointed

Bought 2 to travel to African because of light off.Both did not charge properly . They don’t do the solar charging it was bought for.I left both and my family in africa don’t want it. And it’s too heavy

As other reviewer has noted, the solar panel makes no discernable difference to the charge, so what’s the point ? A week in the sun achieved nothing. It’s really just a mains charged outdoor battery.

A bit bulky for day to day use but it has great charging power and with 2 USB ports works well. When its drained it will charge a phone via the solar panel, albeit with sunlight and is very slow. But will get you out of trouble if needed.

Not worth buying, held a charge one time then never managed to recharge, left in the sun for 6hrs still never went above 1 blue light

Doesn’t appear to live up to expectations...Took much longer than I expected to charge phone battery, however, my I phone is a couple of years old, that may be a consideration...
