Technics EAH-AZ80E-S (Silver) Premium Hi-Fi True Wireless Earbuds with Noise Cancelling

I’ll be returning these, which is disappointing. The sound quality is fantastic, the multipoint connectivity works flawlessly, and the app offers great features. Switching between devices like my phone and laptop is quick and seamless. Unfortunately, the right earbud has a constant high-pitched 'tinnitus' sound that is unbearable. I previously bought a pair from JB Hi-Fi but had to return them because the left earbud had the same issue. Hoping it was a one-off problem, I ordered this pair from Amazon, but the issue persists. The noise makes it impossible to wear them without music playing. The hunt continues for another Bluetooth earbud.

I’ve been using these earbuds for over six months, more than 8 hours a day, mainly for work, meetings, music, and general daily use. • Treble (medium to high frequencies) is the best I’ve personally experienced on true wireless earbuds: very clear, detailed, and clean. Bass is slightly less powerful than some high-end Sony earbuds, but still excellent in quality and well controlled. Make sure to use the mobile app and set audio quality to the highest level to get the best sound. Some mid-level quality settings improve multipoint stability and feature compatibility, so there is a good balance to choose from. • The aesthetics and materials are outstanding. From the metal case cover to the plastics, everything feels premium and well engineered. They feel solid, durable, and truly “high-end” in hand. • Battery life is not the strongest feature, but charging is fast. The case holds enough power for multiple recharges when you’re on the go. A big plus: you can charge one earbud while continuing to use the other, without drops in call or audio or mic quality. • This is one of the strongest aspects of the product. Bluetooth stability is exceptional: no random dropouts, no intermittent connections. Multipoint switching between devices is fast, reliable, and seamless. Compared to many other Bluetooth devices I’ve used, this is the most stable connection experience I’ve had. • Noise cancelling is outstanding. With the correct ear tip size, you can almost completely forget about your surroundings. During meetings or calls, background noise is also removed and not noticeable to others. • Microphone quality is excellent, with clear and natural voice capture. Easily good enough for professional meetings and even streaming. Call quality remains consistent even when switching devices or charging one earbud. • Without hesitation, these are the best earbuds I’ve used for work and meetings, considering flexibility, stability, sound quality, microphone clarity, and noise cancelling. • Also highly recommended for gaming and multiplayer gaming due to low latency, stable connection, and clear voice communication. • For music, they are excellent overall, though bass-focused listeners might still prefer some Sony models or other brands. Final thoughts If your priority is professional use, long daily wear, stable multipoint connectivity, top-tier noise cancelling, and excellent call quality, these earbuds are hard to beat.

These buds are quite simply the best all rounders if you are looking for true wireless earbuds with great sound, very good noise cancelling and decent battery life. I have had Momentum 2s and 3s and Sony XM 4s and 5s. These are far and away the best for noise cancelling. Both the Sonys, 4s and 5s are touted as the best for NC but in my experience they do not even match the Sennheiser for NC. The Sennheiser may sound a little more refined and detailed than the Technics, but I have had two pairs where one ear bud simply stopped working, one in the warranty period and one just out of it. So the Technics seem to be the One that does everything very well with no obvious defects. Battery life may not be as long as the other two but it is very good. They are also very easy to pair with devices and operate. And they are the best for NC if you do a lot of walking on busy streets.

Great sound quality, comfortable and I find they fit well (though I don't work out with them). The noise cancellation is good. Sometimes switching between noise cancellation, passthrough, and normal settings almost creates a sensation like your ears needing to pop. The "Attention" mode for Ambient Sound (meant to emphasize voices) can be pretty unbearable to listen to- it feels like it emphasizes ALL noises instead, and a professor speaking 15ft from you can and will peak the internal mic. The battery life lasts for hours when not using noice cancellation or passthrough. Both the case and the earbuds charge quickly. My one huge gripe with charging, that others have mentioned, is sometimes the earbuds don't seem to sit properly in the case. Which will make the case aggressively flash red, nonstop, until the issue is resolved. (Take out earbuds. Check to see if there's anything blocking the contacts. There isn't. Put them back in. Wait. Lights indicate charging. Close case. Wait. Yep, still charging fine. Put them down and-OHHH MY GOD IT'S FLASHING AGAIN. Repeat.)

Excellent acoustics, sound quality and noise cancelling vs the other same category brands i’ve tried. Long battery life. Can talk to alexa change songs while running. Though too much shaking or sweat in the ear in rare cases it falls of which may damage the unit. Overall, highly recommended
