I've purchased so much assemble it yourself furniture in my life (rooms and rooms full) and most of it is pretty shoddy. This one is surprisingly substantial and good quality. All the screw holes are properly threaded, and the screw in pegs have the proper plastic threaded fittings so you're not just going into bare particle board. All parts are labeled and the instructions were very good, even including extra tips where it might be easy to make a mistake. I'm happy to report that I only made one minor error while assembling this and it was very easy to realize and correct on my next step. Fair warning, it is a ton of pieces and even as a very experienced home furniture assembler it took me several hours, but the going was easy and there was nothing frustrating about the process at all. One other big positive is how it was packaged: hard plastic corner protectors on the desktop pieces. I really appreciated that because I've had more than a few pieces of furniture arrive already damaged out of the box. Everything here was pristine. I got mine on a black Friday sale, but I think it's worth the original list price of just under $200 and I would have been happy with it at that price.

This is a great desk. It was easy to put together. It is super sturdy. The desk part was a little smaller than I was expecting. Overall though, I really love the desk.

Let’s just cut to the chase. It’s sturdy enough, but look cheap. I’m using in a shed office in my back yard so it will not get a lot of public viewing time. So it’s acceptable. It did come with a broken door. Nothing a little wood glue and a couple Dowels couldn’t fix. For the price I would have preferred to not to have to fix anything. One good thing is they gave more than enough hardware. When you left over hardware it makes you wonder, but after double checking everything is securely in place. Instruction are not good. They leave a lot of room for error. I have learned to always lay out a product before assembling. That saves a ton of time and headache. And believe me it did in this case. Yes the instructions are that bad. Might be easier to just look at the picture and assemble. It assembled quickly. Don’t sit on the desk part. Here’s some pros and cons. Pros: 1. Looks just ok. 2. Sturdy 3. Functional for a small office. 4. Plenty of hardware and backup pieces. 5. Assembly time is quick, took me 30 minutes. Cons: 1. For the price? Not so happy. 2. Broken pieces. Several reviews had the same problem. 3. Instructions are terrible. But not rocket science. 4. Though it’s sturdy given the attachment point being plentiful the materials are cheap so let’s go back to, Don’t sit on it. Would I recommend this to others? Both yes and no. If it’s a front office purchase, that’s a big NO. If it’s for private occasional use, it’s a Yes.

i really love this desk, not only is it beautiful.. it is greatly spacious and functional. i would recommend this to my own friends and family as a great buy. i am a full time college student in my junior year & it fits all my needs. assembly was easy, of course a little time consuming but they labeled everything nicely plus the instructions were clear to read and understand. here is your sign to buy this desk!

Husband started working from home and bought this for his work station. He uses a laptop and a 55 inch monitor/TV. The size is perfect. He was able to put it together primarily by himself, I helped sometimes by holding pieces. So, not difficult to put together. No missing pieces, no scratches. Delivered as scheduled.

It's pretty sturdy once assembled and tightened. It took me like 3-4 hours to build it, but I am kinda slower than average when it comes to building things. It was packaged pretty well, but it still managed to get a few scuff marks during delivery. The instructions for building it are pretty good, but I would recommend tightening the screws that hold the little U-shaped bars to the monitor rise before securing it to the top of the desk because they are such a pain to reach once it is attached. I haven't gotten to use it much yet because the chair I bought for it is way behind schedule, but I'm overall pretty pleased with how it turned out. Given the quality of the drawers, it's probably a touch overpriced though—around $170 when I bought it.

I have a small office 8foot by foot so I need a desk that fits in a corner and this desk is great for my use It only takes one hour to assemble and you can see it will work with for monitors and a CPU or three monitors and a laptop and CPU
