Great in exposed wire lamp fixture.
We bought this for making hanging lights out of Mason jars. We used old tools (pulleys, etc.) and ceramic knobs as mounts on our wooden beams. The cord looks great in capacity and works well.

Great for antiques or vintage applications
Bought this for wiring two very old oil lamps that I converted to electric and it suits them perfectly. The clothing that covers it has a beautiful brown/bronze color that goes well with dark or gold colored items, like the lamps I made. The wires inside them are approximately 14gauge so consider that if you're using it for high current applications, for lamps that are low wattage is fine. When I wired them to the wall wires I used heat shrink tubes to cover the clothing at the cuts, that prevents it to peel back. Definitely recommended for a nice touch in projects.

This black twisted cord worked perfectly for my pendant light project
This black twisted cord worked perfectly for my pendant light project. The cloth cover makes it a little more of a challenge when stripping wires for connections, but you get used to it soon. The twists don't un-twist too easily, thankfully. You just have to be careful when working with it. The black cloth cover does look good to me also. I used this cord in my pendant light project for my foyer. See photos. The canopy and sockets were from other Amazon sellers. The globes were from IKEA and the bulbs are Feit brand Edison bulbs from Home Depot. This project came together very well, and all parts worked together almost perfectly. What do you think?

Easy to work with
I wasn't sure this would work because the scones are mounted directly to the wall but everything turned out great.
