The bin is excellent, really easy to use, and looks great!My gripe is with the supplier I’m afraid. The lid is electric and powered by 4 batteries (not supplied). Having installed the batteries, the lid doesn’t work. No big deal because it can be opened and closed very easily, but at the end of the day, it doesn’t work as advertised.I contacted the supplier, who said that they would send a replacement lid, and (rather oddly), would I send back the original. I agreed that I would, and requested a return from. Neither the return form, nor the replacement lid have materialised.As I said, the lid can easily be operated manually, so no big deal, but I wanted to warn prospective buyers about the supplier.

Great basic bin. Sturdy. Bottom bin easily rolls out and fits my 50ltr biobags. But i use this for waste as mosty recycle and only half fill it in 2 weeks, so usually only empty when it starts to smell.Top bin is simple to open - i dont even bother with batteries. Will fit 50ltr biobags but have to wrangle them over the bin as its slightly wider than the bottom compartment.I just buy 50ltr biobags in bulk so this suits the bin just fine.

Product arrived earlier than expected which was great but was left outside in the rain by delivery company which was a shame. The product was OK at least and it seems very well made. The capacity of each section is more than enough, I can take the recycling out every few days and it's a nice feature that the bin lid stays open when you are putting stuff in the bin. The bin is a good price compared to other brands and looks expensive.Edit: Had the bin 3 weeks now and it is dinged already, which is disappointing. The material the bin is made from doesn't seem too durable.

I love this bin because of the height and how big the opening is. It stops my pooch who learnt to open my other one with his nose doing this. It’s very sturdy however only gave 4 stars because it’s quite expensive and the lid stopped working but the seller sent me another one with no quibble. Hoping it’s lasts to warrant paying so much money

Bought and happy originally, but just this week motorised bin lid has stopped working. Bin still effective in what it does ( retaining waste) but a shame that £100 bin doesn’t work after 4 months

So far so good, when bin opens nice countdown timer displayed to show when bin will close.Operation smooth, decent size and bottom drawer slides out to enable emptying.So one year on and it just stopped working, it goes through the sequence of operation but it’s like the motor does not have the power to lift the lid. Contacted the supplier for support but nothing back. Don’t waste your money, it’s a short term investment, I love being the underdog and proving people wrong as some of the feedback was quite negative when I made the purchase but this has all the right boxes ticked unfortunately the product is not able to back up the idea. Supplier was no help and got in touch with manufacturers but as it was 13 months old they were unable to help, fair enough a warranty is a warranty but don’t buy this for the long haul!!

I wanted this bin because it was the correct size and combined a bin section for recycling and general waste, it fits the bill perfectly. I was worried the sensor would be too sensitive and trigger all the time, but that’s not the case. You can see from the photo we have the bin next to a door way, and I was worried just passing through the door would prompt the lid to open, but that’s not the case. You have to wave your hand above the lid to open, and it works a dream. I was very hesitant of paying over 100GBP for a bin, but it is very good!

Perfect size for the area we wanted to locate it. The only issue is our light switch is just above and it sets off the sensor every time we turn on and off the lights.
