Works great 1 year later!
I’ve had this dummy battery for a little over a year now, and I don’t think I’ve had a single issue with it! The overall quality and battery life are exactly as described, and it’s a great product for its price.

**Edit** Replacement item works fine** No errors. Battery says 100%. I am returning for a replacement because the LED indicator light isn't working.

Works great on my Sony A7r iii
Using my Sony A7r iii as a webcam for a premium work conferencing video experience. This camera won’t charge the battery while in use so this product takes the place of the battery and makes the camera think it has an infinite power supply. On my camera the battery door detaches to support a battery grip which for this use case allows the power supply wire to exit the body and hang freely. Great product. Highly recommend.

The media could not be loaded. Packaged great and has a carry bag included. Fixed overheating issues and now not worried about battery dying during streaming!!

Sends Too Much Voltage to the Camera
The media could not be loaded. So I bought this item since the conversion from 100-240V AC to 8V DC happens on the brick rather than on the battery, which is great for my use case of modding it to run off of a USB-C PPS Triggerboard. I was curious how much voltage was being sent to the battery since some people reported it frying their cameras, so I removed the shielding and measured the voltage straight from the wires. Damn! My multimeter is reading at 8.4V after the conversion. These cameras are meant for 7.2V. No wonder why certain camera's are fried after using it. If it hasn't happened to yours now, it will sooner or later.
