This was worth it. My parents will love this back.
The cable has arrived at the exact date, and it works very well for my IPod.I thought I will never get this iPod back on anytime because I lost my old one since 2014 or so.I’m surprised how well the IPod still works since getting this around when I was born. My parents own this when they had me at the time.Today I'm now 20, and bringing a replacement has been my idea since the start when we lost our old one. (Sony IPod)

Works great.
This cable works fine on my son's Walkman. We needed to replace the cable that came with the Walkman when it was lost. We chose to buy Sony brand because we know their products are of high quality. Also, we felt sure that a Sony cable would fit and work with a Sony Walkman. We were correct, and pleased with this purchase.

Works Perfectly
I bought a Sony NW-A45 at the beginning of 2020. Unparalled sound production, to be sure, but the cord sucks. Aside from the fact that it's totally proprietary, the cord that came with it was unreliable and useless in six months. Right before I went on vacation, I found I could not get it to connect to my computer to transfer music. It would charge, but it would not recognize as a device. Panicked and frustrated, I was literally sitting in an airport toggling the cord in and out of the ports only to realize that if I hit it JUST right, it would connect, and I finally transferred the playlists I needed for my special girls trip (would have been a HUGE bummer) not to be able to play the special playlists I made for my best friend. In the midst of my frustration, I bought two of these cords for when I returned. I ditched the garbo cord for these, and they have worked perfectly since. I hope they have better longevity than the first! For now, they charge quickly as expected and upload music without a hitch. Just wish they weren't so expensive!

Expensive but Necessary
You need this as a spare because Sony's ridiculous proprietary port will make it impossible to find a cable if you lose yours.Expensive but necessary.

Expensive but worth it!
I’ve had this mp3 player since I was 15 (31 now). In all these years, I’ve never had an issue with the charger until 3 days ago. My original charger stopped working (think it got wet). I was looking for a replacement charger and was going to get one off EBay but that would have taken weeks, maybe longer, to get here. I listen to my music almost every night so that wouldn’t suffice. I came across this one and was shocked at the price ($18). I’m glad I bought it though because it came in two days and is a Sony brand charger that works for this mp3 player (NWZ-E436F).

Cable seems to be well made
I hate the fact that you have to have this special cable for the sony mp3 player. But this replacement cable is well made and still works after about 7 months.

Another Sony ripoff
There is no good reason for Sony to force the purchase of a proprietary cable with a proprietary connector other than to rape the public of even more cash. Shame on them.
