The wife and I saw a telescoping table like this at a friend's house and knew we had to have one. Being thrifty shoppers who routinely meander the maze of Ikea, we chose to buy this "affordable," do it yourself model from Amazon on the interwebs.Being used to Ikea pictographs, I thought this table would be a snap to put together. I broke the box open and found around 8 tiny bags filled with pieces and a single piece of paper for instructions. All I can say is that you might want to put this together yourself bc the print on the instructions is very tiny and 2 sets of the 8 bags have strikingly similar appearances, leading to a decent amount of frustration with assembly. Oh and it helped me to have a flat head and a phillips screw driver.As you may have judged from the price, this table isn't made from rich mahogany nor will it be the striking center piece of your room, but it's functional and keeps my wife and I from hunching forward like cave people while we scarf nachos in front of the TV.

I like this coffee table, its great for all of our uses, but not great because I specifically bought this model over less expensive versions because it advertises that the bottom three sections are 12 inches wide. THIS IS NOT TRUE. I was hoping to reuse some bins that I already had to put in here but in reality, the bottom three sections are only about 11.5 inches wide, which is the exact dimensions of my bins, and so therefore they do not fit. This is extremely disappointing because I had to go spend another $45 on new bins that will fit and it ended up costing me much more in the long run. IF YOU ARE BUYING THIS PRODUCT DO NOT TRUST THE ADVERTISED DIMENSIONS.

You will absolutely need a 2nd person to help assemble, at least to get the top on. Total pain in the ass to do it myself but eventually got there. It’s fantastic now that it is together though.

I’m so glad I got this table!! It looks nice for not being real wood, 4/5 on sturdiness because some of the metal screws don’t fit properly into the sockets. 3/5 on instructions because they are pictures that don’t Really specify what direction the pieces are facing. Perhaps if they added “this way out” stickers or something it would be easier but I found myself having to take it apart and put it together again many times. After all is said and done though it’s a great table with AN AMAZING PRICE!!

The instructions are a little vague and I ended up having to take it apart once because I put the sides on backwards and it took a few steps to realize it, so pay attention when assembling. But since this has been GREAT, the storage is awesome and we hide stuff from our kids under the table top (we also haven't told them it lifts yet, so shh) and we make big snack plates and drink wine and watch game of thrones when they go to bed and its GREAT to lift the table up to the couch and snack!

This is a great table, easy to put together and now that we have them I couldn't live without. If you are like me and tend to work, craft, puzzles or anything you would need a flat surface to do. We have them lined up next to each other so both my husband and I can use them individually while at the comfort of my sofa.

Cheap pressed board but can hold weight has strong springs. Would be nice if it had a lock
