Where are these made? The pair I bought says made in China.

The owner addressed this with an in depth explanation. My understanding is that due to California having such strict regulations calmer they were forced to only manufacture 1000 sandals per day. Obviously, this would not satisfy the demand as these are popular sandals, therefore they went overseas to produce 75% of the sandals that they sell. The remaining 25 are still made in California to make an attempt at staying true to the brand. The quality remains the same, and the warranty is stellar. Don't be deterred by this idea because they are definitely worth the money! I now own my own pair :)

Do these squeak if your feet get sweaty?

I haven't had any real issue with them squeaking. Maybe a little during the break in period, but once it's formed to your foot, just the normal flip-flop sound.

Can these flops get wet in the pool or Beach?

Those are 100% leather uppers and the more you wear them, including in water, the better the mold to your feet. They are absolutely designed to get wet on the daily.

The underside X stitch is severely scratching my foot, almost bleeding. Will sanding the stitch destroy the thong? Any suggestions?

saddle soap will soften up the material.

Las mejores sandalias

Las sandalias son de muy buena calidad y muy cómodas, mi única observación es que la horqueta no era exactamente igual, el pie izquierdo me calza perfecto pero la del derecho es un poco más corta y apretada, aunque ha aflojado con el uso por ser piel, sigue sintiéndose la diferencia entre una y otra, supongo que entre mas las use ira mejorando, porque al principio me costaba trabajo simplemente meter el pie
