Feels sturdy and well made. Easy to carry, and the safety cap gives me peace of mind. Hopefully I’ll never have to use it, but I’m glad to have it just in case.

I bought this a year ago for a 4x4 trip through Montana, and brought it to another 4x4 trip into Mexico. (I did have pepper spray confiscated on a previous trip into Mexico, so beware, it is illegal there for civilian use) I tested it before leaving the USA with a super short burst and it seemed to work perfectly. I never sprayed it again until over a year later. I carry it on my ebike in case of dogs or violent people, and had a wacko dude come at me last night. I warned him to stop coming towards me but he didn't, so I hosed him down. He retreated, shrieking. WORKS GREAT as a first line of defense. Glad I didn't have to use my second line, and trust me, so is the wacko dude because he is still alive.

I havent had a need to use it, but it makes me feel like i can take on an army. i do take it everywhere as a form of self defense lol. Its nice quality, and does say how to use it.

Definitely a must ,works well. Highly recommended.

Gave 4 stars. Got it for a trip out to Colorado last year. Had it handy but didn't have to use it. Guess I'll give it to my buddy when he goes hunting next fall.

Makes me feel confident. I not only do not fear bears now, I SEEK OUT bears just to teach them a lesson. Bears don't actually live around me but there you have it.

I bought this SABRE Frontiersman Bear Spray because, you know, bears. I was impressed by the label's claim of "Maximum Strength" and figured it was time for a test run. In my backyard, I aimed at a cardboard cutout of a bear and gave it a good spray. Unfortunately, a sudden breeze turned me into a human pepper shaker. The spray cloud enveloped me, and let’s just say, I got a taste of my own medicine. My neighbor’s garden was also briefly rebranded as a pepper garden. The good news? If you ever need to repel both bears and your neighbors’ curiosity, this stuff does the trick! Just remember: check the wind direction, or you might end up as the main ingredient in your own spicy disaster.

Have used this brand in the past after occasionally testing it..I'm satisfied it has a decent range and holds pressure after long periods of non use. I've done a lot of hiking and backpacking over the years and fortunately haven't had to use the spray even though I've had close encounters with bears several times and cougars a few times. It's been comforting to know i had the bear spray just in case an encounter was less than friendly.
