I shoot an AirForce Texan .457 LSS and a AirForce Condor 25 cal SS. I was not getting what I needed out of my long tube filter with cotton wads, desiccant, and activated charcoal there was moisture getting through. I purchased a 3.0 L tank to fill my air guns. Again moisture was gettin into tank. I finally purchased a GX water separator and was expecting it to keep the moisture out of my airguns and tank. It really worked. Not only did it work but it worked fantastic. The science behind the water removal is sound and it is a great water removal tool for any Airgun or tank. I work for JPL / NASA and the basic rules of keeping water out of places you do not want it are followed. At first I thought it was a little to expensive but after reading the way it removes water and oil from my guns and tanks was simple and sound so I had to try it. Glad I did. The unit is built solid and tough and the attaching magnets work great holding it vertically so it can do its job without having to find a permanent place on work bench to mount it. There is not much back pressure noted. There is a manual drain at bottom of extractor to dump the water it extracts. I already said this unit is solid but again this unit is built very well, good machining, and great materials shows pride of workmanship. It performs very good with no leaks or other issues. It comes with additional activated charcoal and cotton wads. I suggest using a small inline filter ahead of the GX water extractor to get most of water out before it gets to the GX extractor especially if you live a humid area. It works as advertised. It has worked flawlessly removing water from entering my AirForce Condor SS and Texan .457 LSS and Feinwerkbau Olympic Pistol. The filter has not been changed yet as most of the water gets vented periodically by opening water valve vent. Any water moisture gets picked up by the filter. I really like the filter keeping moisture out of my 3.0L and 6.8L air tanks and airgun tanks and internals to prolong life of my airguns. In my opinion, it is one of the best filters out there. Filters are not that costly as you get a lot of mileage on them and very comfortable to know moisture is not getting into my tanks and airguns

Extremely easy to install and works great. Definitely a step up from the moisture filters I had been using on my compressor for my PCP rifles. Replaceable internal filter units and allows you to drain off whatever moisture collects in the unit as you fill your PCP's. Not much more I can say, just a really nice product for PCP users. Get one, you won't be sorry and your PCP will function better over the long run

This is a great filter and very well made. I had a small problem with the guide pins on the top but the supplier sent some that allowed perfect alignment. I have also purchased the GS3-1 pump. The filter has stopped all the water and oil from entering into my guns and refill bottles. This is a must have for clean air.

Outstanding quality. It's built like a tank. Solid and heavy aluminum filter that has magnets to hold it on your pcp compressor. It will keep the water out of your pcp gun.

i will give a proper review once i test the device again because apparently the first time i had this device it really strained my gx cs4ix pump and made it sound like it was going to die, the product page explains not to put the magnets on the one side containing the inverter. i don't think i did that last time but we will see this time. the only reason i am trying it again is because of the amazing build quality and the fact that everyone i spoke to seems to think this is an amazing device so i am willing to give it another chance. i will post again once i have tried it again.

Mine didn't work at first so I had to contact support. I got immediate contact through their chat option (they also offered in person call back). They trouble shotted and determined that maybe mine was bad and offered to replace immediately. As I was getting mine together to send back, I noticed that I had the intake and outlet mixed up. Works like a charm after making that correction. Biggest thing is how quickly support was available and how quickly they offered a resolution. As far as how well it works, it does seem to release a little water through its drain, when bleeding (I assume this means its working) but I did notice it slowed down a bit as I got to the end of my fill (approaching 3 bars). It seemed it got to the the last bit of 3 bars a hair quicker without the filter. I'd rather have all the moisture adequately stopped, rather than saving an extra minute (that might have literally been what the time difference was). Product works, responsive company behind it.

Good quality materials. If you are filling a big tank or run it for more than 30minutes continueslly, i would, wich I do, bleed it, just slightly open the bottom bleed valve to let water out, but I found out is better to use the bleeder on the compressor first so that if any moisture, it would go out on the compressor side. I do this and this thing is always dry when I bleed it out when done filling. I also use a condensate filter ,like the tuxin gold or golden, it has a cartridge filled with charcoal and molecular sieve, and the air is clean and no smells of any kind. Buy the way, I am using the GX CS4 compressor, really quiet. For instance, I fill a 6.8 liter or (45 minutes) if you bought one on eBay from a fire department etc. 4500 psi tank and it takes about 50 minutes for every 1000psi, my old yong Heng took 30 minutes for 1000psi, but it was Loud, Stinky and Dirty. Highly Recommed this coalescer. I'll share a picture of my set up. The kart is the one from Harbor freight, the one for the Welders.

Ich habe dieses Modell von GX PUMP bei Amazon mit anderen günstigeren Modellen aus Fernost verglichen. Dieses Modell schneidet in allen Kategorien besser ab und der Preis ist sehr ähnlich zu den anderen chinesischen Modellen von eher fragwürdiger Qualität. Highlights: + Erstaunliche Qualität und wunderschön verarbeitet! + Sehr solide Konstruktion + Tolle Funktionen wie die magnetische Befestigung am Kompressor + Ein Ersatzsatz Filtermedien ist im Lieferumfang enthalten Was mich wirklich von diesem Filtermodell überzeugt hat (es handelt sich eigentlich um einen Koaleszenz-Wasser- und Ölabscheider und einen Filter in einem Gerät), war ein YouTube-Video des Produktdesigners, in dem er die Funktionsweise erklärte (er schickte seinen Entwurf an GX, die das Gerät herstellen). Die Tatsache, dass sich der Wasserabscheider erst bei 2000 psi öffnet, bedeutet, dass Wasserdampf buchstäblich keine Möglichkeit hat, durch den Filter zu gelangen. (Da Wasserdampf bei diesem Druck nicht existieren kann.) Ich habe dieses Modell mit dem günstigeren chinesischen Modell verglichen, das ich an meinem ersten Kompressor habe, und es gibt wirklich keinen Vergleich – dieses Produkt ist in jeder Hinsicht weit überlegen. Ich werde es nun für alle zukünftigen Füllungen verwenden, und es wird auch dazu beitragen, jegliche Feuchtigkeit zu entfernen, die bisher in meine PCPs gelangt sein könnte. Ich kann diesen Filter von GX nur wärmstens empfehlen und würde ihm mehr Sterne geben, wenn ich könnte. 100 % Empfehlung.

I recieved the Air Compressor filter in good time and immediatly set it up on my compressor I was dissapointed to find the water drain release vave was leaking, when I took out the valve I found a piece of aluminium swarf in the valve and noticed more pieces inside the hole i took the filter apart and found a large amount of filings and pieces of fine aluminium inside I cleaned it out but the valve still leaked I believe the O ring and seat has been damaged by the aluminium pieces. This is a very well made and solid piece of equipement, but i would suggest taking apart and cleaning before use.
