Can i cook with this oil?

Not if you live in the US, Canada, or EU. Mustard oil is banned for import or sale for human or animal consumption in these regions due to high levels of naturally occurring levels of Eurcic acid. The “organic” label only attests to crop processing. The product should have Erucic acid levels below 5% to make it suitable for ingestion and ingredient should be listed as low Erucic acid mustard oil. If not, it cannot be sold at all without the words “for external use only” on the label.

The oil is in food grade, BPA free plastic. We do not use glass as the damage rate in shipping & handling is very high.

Can you cook with this?

Yes, you can. You can see it by the word “organic” and if behind has the nutrition facts . I bought it because I like to make natural masks for my hair but I know it is good to cook !
