Aside from the weird name, this is pretty awesome! I would recommend tinder if you don't have any dry, but it's been a cold wet winter over here so all of mine was cold and, well... wet. I had dry wood, but yet. It was pretty simple once I set a proper fire. I should have started with better tinder, but this was way better than using matches. So simple. I'm going to get a few more for back-ups and to stick in my car. Very cool!

I was advised to get a long-lasting thicker and longer for starters this fits the bill.

We successfully lit our campfire with this fire starter! My son loves it, after reading about "flint and steel" in My Side of the Mountain.
