Doing your nails at home is a chore. Let’s face it. And the intention is to create salon quality nails without the salon price. I’ve tried dips, gels. None are easy to do by yourself and none turn out like the salon. This builder gel is AMAZING. It’s self-leveling so you don’t have to worry about evenness. I started with clear so I can’t speak to the colors yet. But they come out shiny, you can control how thick based on how much product you use, they cure quickly. I’m obsessed. I came back to Amazon as soon as I was done with my first set and ordered the 14 pack of builder gel colors because these are glossy enough on their own. You don’t need polish! I used nail tips. So my process was: Glue on tips Trim to desired length Apply foundation coat Cure Apply builder gel Cure Apply top coat Cure DONE Full set took about 25-30 min. Not sure. I didn’t time it since it was my first go round but I certainly never thought “dang this is taking forever”. So easy!
