Wow...first person to review this rake! And I’m happy to do so. This rake is perfect. If you’re looking for a small, hand held rake...this is it. It’s sturdy and very well built. The handle is not only comfortable, but feels like it’s quality and not some cheap $.05 material that won’t last a season. I bought this for the sole purpose of using at the beach to dig for shells in the wet sand. I especially wanted something that would hold up to wet sand...as plastic definitely will not. However, I’ll use this around the house as well. When I searched for a rake a few months ago, I knew exactly what I was looking for, and this is what I had in mind. As soon as I saw it, I added it to my cart. But I didn’t buy it right then and there. I moved it and saved for later for when I was ready to purchase some other items at the same time. About a week later when I was ready...unfortunately, it wasn’t. It was “unavailable” with the dreaded phrase, “we don’t know if this product will be back in stock”. I was bummed, but I kept it saved for later. I quickly searched for a rake similar to this one, but failed. I didn’t want a different one. I really wanted this one, based on what I had in mind. Fast forward to the end of December and I noticed this was back in stock! Not waiting a second longer, I bought it. I wasn’t going to let it slip away again. So here I am...rake was delivered and it’s hanging in my garage...ready for action. If you’re thinking about buying this, like I was, don’t hesitate, like I did. It’s worth every cent. Highly recommend.

Finding this tool to solve an unusual problem came as a pleasant surprise. I camp in forest and deserts not the well-groomed lawns shown in camping ads. Often, I find rocks and twigs in the places where the bottom of my tent or screen house will land. What I needed was a portable tool that could substitute for the long garden rake impractical to take on camping trips. This tool fit the bill, and it's tough. I've clawed out half-buried rocks without bending the teeth of this hand rake, and made my tent floor smooth in minutes.

This rake is bigger than I had expected for the low price, and works great in my little garden. I've only had it for a few weeks, but it seems very well made and I suspect it will last a long time. I received a friendly email after my order from the owner of this new company, which informed me that this item also comes with a lifetime warranty! Great product, and also nice to know that you are helping a new business blossom by buying from them, rather than a big box retailer:)

Really good quality and bigger than I expected , but is a plus.

First of all, the item was delivered very quickly. Second, the item was as described. I like that it is ergonomic - it feels good in your hand and has the right balance and leverage. I like that it is sturdy - heavy duty - it feels like it will last a long time. I like that it is treated for rust so that it will not develop rust quickly. I can see how the manufacturer can give a lifetime warranty. It is a quality product. And the price is very reasonable. I bought it because I thought it would be a good weeding tool in my gravel areas. It is a big help there. I will also use it in my garden for loosening soil and weeding. I am very happy with this purchase.

Great product..we have used it for two years and love it for getting dead organic material out of our grass. Many of the negative reports are laughable. I just ordered another one today so we can both use it on the lawn. Very sturdy construction.

I like the handle size and its strong teeth grab weeds just perfectly. You can rake out any leaves left over from underneath the bushes and plants. I wish it had one more extra tooth, but other than that this is a must have tool for gardening. Price? Affordable! Try finding it in big box stores... let me know if you find it!

This hand rake is very useful as long as the ground is softish. Because the handle and stem seem to be hollow, it has little mass and just bounces off of hard dirt when you swing and try to rake and break it up. The metal seems to be strong, but there's just not enough of it. The tines(fingers) are also strong but too thin and you can flex them a bit with your fingers. That will probably limit the longevity of this device. It is also very good for reaching under low ground hugging branches and raking leaves or pushing/pulling loose or wet dirt (ie: to make a circular berm under a fruit tree).

These little cultivators are handy for waist high flower boxes and planters - cultivating the soil occasionally makes watering much more effective. Recommend
