I purchased this nostril retainer set mainly to help with my breathing, as I have a deviated septum from an old injury. Without assistance, it’s hard for me to get proper airflow through one side of my nose, but using this retainer made an immediate difference. The soft, medical-grade silicone is flexible and comfortable enough that, after a while, I barely notice it’s there. It opens my nasal passage just enough to make breathing much easier, especially at night.The set includes two different sizes, which is great for finding the best fit. However, I do wish the sizing chart was clearer—it took some trial and error to figure out which one felt the most comfortable. The retainers are easy to clean with mild soap and water, and the silicone feels durable enough for repeated use over time.While this product is marketed for rhinoplasty recovery, I’ve found it surprisingly useful for daily breathing support with my deviated septum. It’s not perfect, but it’s effective enough that I plan to continue using it. The color makes it difficult to use this product out in public at all, I would have preferred it to be a skin-tone or crystal clear. I had a seriously broken nose about 35 years ago that was repaired in surgery. Since then I have had breathing issues from my nose, the passage ways are not fully open and I never wanted to get surgery to fix it. So I decided to give this a try to help me sleep better at night and what a difference it made. I understand this product is designed for post op recovery to keep the nasal passages open while they heal but I found it worked really well at keeping my already jacked up passages more open so I can get more air while sleeping. I have no negative experiences from this method of use so far. Its been several nights now and all seems fine. I find I am sleeping much better also. I think this is a very cost effective way to address crunched nasal passages for those who are looking for a cheap fix. I assume its good for post op care, but can't speak to that use with experience.

I was looking for a product that would help open my nostrils overnight and stumbled upon these. Upon opening, I was pleased to see that these are made from quality silicone and have plenty of both strength and flexibility. They are also very smooth to avoid irritation. They fit my nostrils OK. I ordered size 7-8 and could have probably gone a little larger. I had a little trouble keeping them in place overnight. They were also a bit uncomfortable, impacting my sleep initially, though it became a little easier over time. The results were about as expected - mild improvements in my nasal passage through a slight reshaping, no huge dramatic changes but noticeable nonetheless.

This was bought for my son, he seems to think it's extremely comfortable compared to some other ones he's tried. It's easy to apply and not too expensive, definitely worth a try

It's soft, durable, easy to wash and it sticks well and stays long in your nostrils if you choose the right size. I got it in 3 sizes and see the difference. It functions in a way to help you breathe and moistens nostrils nicely. Its not perfect and sometimes it really annoys me so I have to take it out. But I like it

Ordered the two pack Nostril Retainer because I have a deviated septum, severely deviated from a childhood accident.Barely any air gets into my left nostril without any assistance.As soon as I put this into my nostrils...FINALLY...AIR!The silicone is soft and pliable and after awhile you barely know that its in. The reason why I knocked off one star is because I don't know if this is the right size for me as I couldn't understand the size chart (poorly done) on the page as to what size I should order and I won't order another size to check because the price is higher than expected.I would suggest that you ask your doctor (if you recently had surgery) for the correct size.If you want to order these for a deviated septum, choose your size carefully.

The two different sizes (6 & 7) provide a perfect fit for my nose, and they’re soft yet firm enough to support the shape of my nostrils. The design is simple but effective. It stays securely in place, preventing any movement or irritation, and has helped maintain the correct alignment of my nose during recovery. I was in an accident and needed some foreign material "installed" in my nose to prevent compression. This retainer worked better than what my doctors recommended. The material is gentle on the skin, and I had no issues with redness. However, I did experience discomfort deep inside my nose, especially when I moved too much, almost like I had to sneeze. Once healed, I probably won’t wear this again, as it has to go quite far up the nose and feels a bit strange.
