Quality Build, Great Value, Fast Read
Test Setup- MacBook Pro 10,1 (Retina, Mid 2012)- macOS Mojave 10.14.6 Beta- Paragon NTFS 15.5.53- Connection : USB 3.0 portGeneral- Preformatted with FAT32 works with Windows and macOS out of the box, although you can format it with whatever format you wish- It has no activity LED. This is a matter of personal preference.PROs- Read / write speeds are consistent across multiple tests and formats.- Capacity and speeds are as advertised even when using the older USB 3.0 standard- Only gets barely warm over long read/write cycles, unlike the Transcend JetFlash 710 which actually gets hot and is normally very warm even at idle.- Perfect size and exterior material doesn’t get in the way even on very thin laptops, but also allows easy install and removal. Fits very snugly in the USB port, but is isn’t hard to remove. The Transcend JetFlash 710’s all aluminum body makes it hard to remove because you can’t get a good grip on it especially if your hands are a little moist.- The keychain loop is streamlined and doesn’t snag your fingers or look awkward when nothing is attached to itCONs- I wish the capacity text on the metal portion was in a thicker font and darker because it blends in with the metal color when direct light is not on it. I plan on purchasing more sizes for different tasks, so I guess I’ll have to label them.Average Speed- Write : 25 MB/s- Read : 210 MB/sFormatted Capacity- FAT32 : 32.06 GB- exFAT : 32.08 GB- NTFS : 31.96 GB- HFS+J : 31.96 GB

Samsung FIT is my favorite of the type
I use these for offline backups of important or useful documents and for trying out linux distributions and downloaded videos and instruction manuals that I want to take with me. Very useful device I think I have five in various capacities, a couple with more memory than the Linux box I'm using now. In fact, I have a 257GB plugged into this computer right now with one PDF file stored on it -- little overkill, but it fit in the printer /scanner USB port and was a easier to grab in that recess than the physically smaller Sandisk I had available and was much easier to extract without a lanyard. (note to self) add some lanyards to the Amazon shopping cart.

great thumb drive, one of the faster speed drives on the market, reliable
SAMSUNG MUF-32AB/AM FIT Plus 32GB - 200MB/s USB 3.1 Flash DriveThis is my drive of choice, pricey I think but can be found on saleCompact size, various size memory and are the fast speeds, which are getting more difficult to find.NO LED, that is the only downer, otherwise a great drive. This is the first drive I check out when looking for a thumb drive.RECOMMENDEDI do not know the seller nor did I get any money or product for my random review230625 1331

Works well, physical design is... meh
Pros:Easy to transport; very fast; USB1, USB2 and USB3 compatible; lanyard hole provides a means for (very) small keychains, necklaces, lanyards, etc. to be attached;Cons:1: No connected-LED or activity-LED; I took a star off for this. It is very useful to know if the OS has actually recognized a USB storage device right when you plug it in. Without such an indication, it's "wait and hope", and if things don't go as usual, you'll be waiting a while, then eventually yanking the device and trying again.2: That lanyard hole would have been much better if it was [a] on the end of the device instead of the side where any attachment to it can interfere with USB device-to-socket-insertion, and [b] if the lanyard hole was quite a bit larger so that a normal-sized keychain could be attached to it. The vertically oriented dime edge in the image is exactly to scale, it was photographed in the same image standing up between a couple rolls of electrical tape. I just cut it out and moved it over the lanyard hole and the cropped the result so you could easily see how absurdly narrow that opening is.My use case:I use this to "sneaker-net" large archives of source code from a desktop to a laptop running another OS that has no network access (security restriction... it's much more difficult to compromise a machine that has no network connection.) The small size works well for me, but having said that, it would be no problem whatsoever if it was large enough to have - you guessed it - a decent sized lanyard hole on the end.

fast and tiny - exactly what i needed
I ordered the 32gb one. It's very small and fits perfectly in my little laptop. I bought it only for the purpose of having a fast way to back up all my files once a month. I don't plan on using it much other than that. My other USB thumb-drive was bulky and it seemed really slow. I'm not tech savvy so I just went by the reviews when I bought this. I will tell you though that the speed of your computer also matters a great deal...my last laptop was what I was using my old thumb drives for and they would take over 5 minutes to transfer simple files and over 1 hour to transfer a few 1,000 photos. But I did notice that with my brand new laptop my files all transferred in 15 seconds and my photos in 2 minutes. So...i guess my thumb drives were never the issue to begin with. So consider that when looking for something "fast'I can't say whether or not this thumb drive overheats because I'm not going to keep it plugged in. I find with a lot of these new computers, especially 2 in 1, everything overheats eventually . It is pretty discreet looking once it's plugged in though which is nice. It's very difficult to remove, you can't just pull it out. I think that's not only because of how small it is but also because it just fits so much tighter then my other USB thumb drives. You just need to wiggle it back and worth to get it out, not a deal breaker. This is way too much typing for a reveiw on something so tiny so that's all I'm going to say. If my opinion changes I'll update my review but for now I reccocmend this.

Excellent for use in a vehicle
I've used a multitude of flash drives in my vehicle in the last few years, but all of them have become corrupted within a matter of weeks or a month. The Samsung MUF-32AB/AM has finally answered my needs: a robust, reliable flash drive that can deliver my MP3 files and withstand the heat and cold of my SUV. It's lasted 4 months so far without a hiccup. It's definitely worth the money, and it's a lot cheaper than a satellite radio subscription.

I like the size
Amazing capacity. Has a slot where you could add a chain with label if you wished.

Works Well with Amazon Fire Stick 4K Max
Bought this to increase the storage on my Firestick 4K Max. Even though the the OTG Cable + Power Cable is only USB 2.0 you are advised to use a USB 3.0 Flash Drive to maximise speed. This is one of the fastest USB flash drives you can buy and the firestick reads it with no real lag.

The flash drive is very fast.
I like the smallness of the drive. I use it to carry around my files.
