water boiled with heavy chemical smell
I bought this kettle 3 months ago. I worked fine for 3 months. It started to release some chemical smell recently. I noticed that there are some dark red powers built up at bottom inside the kettle. The boiled water has a very strong chemical smell now. I used to think that it was the smell of chlorine in water until i compared the boiled water with different kettles. It was this kettle that generated the chemical smell!

it has not elecrtic pump, it has ONLY Manual PumpAll other is fine

Don't buy this one
The heating element and manual hand pump are both working properly. I returned and ordered SPT 3.2-Liter Hot Water Dispenser with Dual-pump System, which have worked well so far (more than one month now)

Poor quality
I bought this item six months ago, and have bought similar ones over the years, the unit is now stuck on "boil" mode and won't get hot. Never buying one of these again!

Simple to use and stays hot
Would recommend to friends and family. Easy to fill and to operate. Looks clean on countertop. Easy to read window.
