A++. Easy to install and set up. Far far better than other products that I tried (as described).
Extremely impressed by the ease of installation and functionality. My property is 60 x 100 and essentially flat. By most measures, its not a large lot. I live in Long Island, on the South Shore. I am not a gardener, but an attorney who enjoys Sunday projects with my kids. I did not formally measure the water pressure / output from my outdoor spigot, but I have never had reason to complain in the 15+ years that I have owned the home. We had an above ground pool that I filled each season, and countless water fights, but never any complaints about water pressure. I did not know what to expect when installing a sprinkler system, and decided to go above ground this year.Attempt #1: Gilmour Turbine Rotor Sprinklers With Metal Spike Bases 200MMS.With one attached, the water was discharged 15 feet *maximum*. With two or three attached to each other, the distance dropped to 6 feet *maximum*. I placed the sprinklers at the corners of my house, hoping to free up the center of the lawn for children's play, etc. but no way those sprinklers could reach the center of my lawn. The sprinklers worked, but not well. Returned for refund. Thanks Amazon!Attempt #2: 6,500-sq ft Impulse Spike Lawn Sprinklers for $39 total from a local store. Improvement in coverage was dramatic. With fewer sprinklers installed, I covered more of my lawn, and the cost per sprinkler was lower. However, after one week, the impulse sprinklers stopped moving reliably. Very disappointing.Attempt #3: Bought these Rainbird 52SA heads and installed them on the spikes from the impulse sprinklers. Exact same sprinkler configuration, and these are perfect. If I had bought these when I started, I would have saved lots of time, effort and prevented an equal amount of frustration. A bonus is that if I decide to install my system below ground, I can still use these sprinkler heads.[UPDATE 1]4 years later and still awesome. At the end of each summer, I detach them and store them in the garage. No special maintenance. They just work perfectly.

The Best
These in my opinion are the best rainbird rotors. The stainless steel is just top notch and will last longer in the end. U can adjust the throw and adjust the side to side movement as well. Just make sure like with all Rainbird rotors that you have your left side lined up exactly where u want the water throw to go when installing. Great Rotors!

Great quality sprinkler
Awesome sprinkler. Very easy to control. Installation is smooth. Make sure its 3/4 thread. I thought it was 1/2 inch. Pressure can be better but works for my lawn size. Would definitely recommend it.

3/4 thread elbow
OK so i had to replace my MAXI-PAW IMPACT ROTOR POP UP SPRINKLERS .. Fact they are easy as eating pie to install. But when running get stuck in one place because they are bad at handling water pressure in the lines. Now Rain bird comes out with this new 52SA Model and as i slowly change over my system to this model .. My St Augustine Grass is smiling again liking the water blanket. You must have a 3/4 threaded elbow to install the 52SA. Seems well built then my other rainbirds of the past only time will tell that story .Thank you Amazon team for the fast shipping. Thank you Rain Bird team. Happy Healthy Grass and Trees .

Oh MY - Finally a great sprinkler head
I bought 12 of these for our acre ++ lot (not all of it irrigated). Finally an easy to adjust sprinkler and highly accurate to only water what you want. Simply the best purchase I've made in a long time.

Stainless steel is the way to go
I began replacing my rotors with the stainless steel rotors about 8 years ago. Worth the difference in price! I have not had one go bad yet.

Edge of driveway tough.
Visitors insist on driving on my lawn and running over my lawn sprinklers. With this tough sprinkler I can fight back.
