After much googling, I finally settled on this for my first plastic free deodorant - and so far, so good!The packaging looks lovely and the deodorant smells lovely. More importantly, it works!!! I’ve used it during the hottest periods of the year and it has left me smell free and bone dry. Very happy! (I used to use Mitchum).Only negatives - the tubes are not big and the amount of deodorant inside each is not much. I’ve bought the mandarin one too and both seemed to be only half to three quarters full, and for almost £10, that’s a disappointment. The other negative is that the top of the cardboard tube gets caked in deodorant and then breaks down. It’s not the most robust packaging.Will I continue to use? Yes for now!!! However if I was on a tighter budget, I would need to think very carefully about it. Sustainability should not be just for the middle classes - I just wish these products were more affordable.

Pros- smells lovely- packaging is 100% cardboardCons- does nothing to stop odour. It might even make me smell worse? I’m a sweaty person so I wasn’t expecting all-day protection, but I feel like I might as well wear zero deodorant- really hard to push up to get more product. I have to melt it with the hairdryer every timeAlso really irritates my skin, but that’s not a problem everyone will have. Tried it for a month and it never got any better.

This is a great product. Both my partner and I use it, and this is the second one we have bought in the space of a few months. Which bodes well for people who are looking for something that lasts a while.I also like the fact it is made of cardboard and can be recycled.And of course the most important thing is the smell. The smell it's self lasts a while, and is great. I would say it is usable by all genders, and doesn't really fall in the usually binary scent marketing category.

I've been using natural aluminium-free deodorants for a number of years now, mostly the ones in a jar that you rub in. I saw this and thought the idea sounded great, a natural deo with no wasteful packaging and no messy fingers!The packaging is great, ok yes you have to push the middle up each time and hold it with your finger while using so it doesnt fall back in, but I didn't mind this. What I did mind is that the texture is quite crumbly, so when applied you get lots of white flakes/chunks, some of them fall on the floor and the rest you have to rub into your armpits, so you get messy fingers anyway.The performance of the deodorant itself is really good, my body is used to this type if deo so there was no adjustment time, and I found it to be as effective as any other I've tried, and I was using this during the recent heatwave. I also like the lavender smell.If this had a smooth non crumbly texture it would have got 5 stars and I would definitely re purchase, love the packaging and performance, I'll be keeping an eye on this one to see if they improve the formula and then I'll definitely give it another go. As it is, I would not repurchase this.

I’ve tried the vanilla and pink grapefruit versions and now have mixed opinion. Love the vanilla, great smell, works really well coping with hiking and gym sweating, goes on easily; only drawback is my fingers aren’t long enough to push it all the way up the tube and I have to use a pen (maybe perforation half way down so you can tear off the upper half when you’ve used a lot?). The pink grapefruit, although I love the smell, the consistency is so crumbly and hard that it doesn’t spread well meaning poor coverage and has actually broken into chunks making it unusable. Will go back to vanilla and stick with that. Overall great product and will continue using, but if you’re trying for the first time, don’t dismiss all of the deodorant range based on one scent.

I've had other deodorants similar to this where you simply push up the stick in order to get more deodorant but this one would not push up for love nor money - it was just stuck to the cardboard. I got my whole family to try and no one could do it. In the end, I had to use scissors to cut and then tear the edges so that I could actually make use of the deodorant. It's a nice scent and works well for what it's supposed to do, shame about the terrible packaging malfunction.

I really put this deodorant to the test when it arrived - I had been ill in bed with a virus and used it after a day I couldn’t get out of bed. I was very surprised at how effective it was freshening me up and neutralising odour. I felt a lot less grotty immediately. I’ve since been using it under more normal circumstances and it’s amazingly effective. It’s a bit different textured when applying it - but once you get used to how best to put it on it feels great.I will never go back to using chemical laden deodorants after this. It is expensive but it is worth it!

Eco friendly is never cheap but this is a great product for the money. Happy that once I am finished with the deodorant I can just recycle the cardboard tube. Smell is pleasant although MUST be used on clean armpits otherwise develops a strange odor as it reacts with already present sweat or deodorants.Goes on easily and does not leave any marks on clothes. No need to wait for drying as it's a solid. Have found my underarms much softer now too and less irritated then when I use normal spray antiperspirant even after shaving.
