Easy to use, work well
We had an Australian Shepherd with a long coat who needed frequent grooming. Living in the city it was easy to take her in, but then we moved.....to a couple of acres of STICKERS! I bought this to shave her legs down to minimize the foxtails she was collecting. They are quiet enough so she wasn't frightened, worked really well especially with the different heads for different length cutting. They are sharp and cut really smooth. I never used them long enough to get too hot.

Definitely Works on Thick Hair and Mats
I was dubious that anything would cut through my senior King Charles' mats - especially a cordless trimmer - but this actually worked. My dog had #2 mats around his backside and matting under his chin due to drooling from dental disease. First, he was bathed and all mats worked through as much as possible with copious amounts of conditioner (cheap, human, brand) and a good brush, then I tackled everything with the #1 guard. He is pretty docile buy still gave me the stink eye when I went after the mats. Then I took the guard off and shaved him down to the skin. My beautician skills are awful, but he lost about 10 lbs of fur and seems happier despite the razor burn (my fault), so it was worth it.The trimmer ran for a solid hour off the initial charge. I cleaned the blades 3x during the job. They never once got too warm in my hands and seemed a bit quieter than my old corded ones. My dog is super passive and accustomed to professional grooming (pre-covid), so he doesn't mind the sound, but I would think it would be tolerable to a more anxious dog if introduced properly/slowly. I found the trimmer to be less heavy than my old corded ones, also.I've only used them once, but the initial cost already cost less than a professional grooming, so they are worth the money, no matter how many (or few) uses I get out of them. The set came with #1 - #4 guards, blade cleaning brush/tool, charger, blade cover, blade oil, scissors, and instructions within a cheap, plastic, case. I oiled the blades and charged the trimmer according to the instructions before use and cleaned the blades according to the instructions after use. Hopefully, these will last for many uses.Update: These are still doing a great job at cutting! I think I have used them 4 times since my initial review, and the blades are still sharp. I will update again after more uses. One caveat: I left the trimmers on the back porch, and the blades rusted from the humidity. I disassembled the blade to clean and oil them, and this allowed me to clean a lot of hair out of the motor housing area. I would recommend checking that area after every use and thoroughly cleaning it. Don't be me. Don't neglect that area and laugh in the face of Florida's wet summers.Update 2: These are still going strong! My one issue is that the blade gets a little warm (like almost 1 hour into it), which he doesn't like on low-hair areas like his tummy, but this is only because it takes me so long to groom him. I've just learned to do it faster by getting more experienced, but the clippers are still sharp and haven't lost power. To be sure, though, I have followed the care instructions, except for that 1 time mentioned above.

Overall, it is a good product at a good price.
Just completed my first full charge grooming. No problem with the longevity of the charge, still strong at the end of session. Cuts well, no complaints. If you bump the on/off switch it cuts off for a second. Just a little touchy. Drop the case or make it thicker. Change to a USB charging plug. Overall, it is a good product at a good price.

I Would Be Fired as A Dog Groomer but These Get me By In a Pinch!
As a mom who's juggled her fair share of last-minute crises, the WAHL Deluxe Pro Series Cordless Clipper Kit has been a savior for our family's adorable (and shaggy) golden doodle. Let's face it, getting a grooming appointment on short notice can be tougher than convincing teens to do chores, so having these clippers at home is like having a backup plan for your backup plan. The cordless design of these clippers is a game-changer – it's as if they're saying, 'Go ahead, chase your dog around the house, we've got you covered.' The lithium-ion battery ensures I have enough power to get through the grooming session without a mid-cut recharge panic. As for the results? Well, let's just say our golden doodle ends up looking 'unique' after my amateur grooming attempts. But the clippers are so efficient and easy to use, any hairstyle quirks are purely due to my novice skills, not their performance. The variety of guide combs is like having a cheat sheet for dog grooming – they help me avoid any drastic mistakes, and I'm getting better with each use. Plus, the low noise and vibration don't scare our furry friend, which is a big win.the WAHL Deluxe Pro Series Clipper Kit is a must-have for pet parents. It's user-friendly, efficient, and makes at-home dog grooming a feasible, even enjoyable, task. While I may not be a pro groomer, these clippers make sure our golden doodle is comfortable and well-groomed, embarrassing hairdos notwithstanding!

TLDR: Loud and Dull
Bought these because I trusted the brand, but overall really disappointed. Saying they're loud would be an understatement. They genuinely scare my dog when I'm using them, which is never a good thing. They also don't cut very well. I'm not even finished with my first cut and it feels like they're at the end of their life. The oneisall clippers I had previously lasted for years, so this is really disappointing. I've always used wahl for my personal clippers, but honestly after this that might be changing as well. Would not recommend.Update: officially gave up and went back to my oneisall clippers. Despite being old they were much more effective, and so much quieter. Unfortunately my dog starts shivering whenever he hears clippers now and I'm not sure I can finish( before he would close his eyes and vibe out like it was a spa day). I thought I was upgrading by buying Wahl, but instead I was destroying years of trust and my dog looks ridiculous. Plan on returning ASAP.
