Be sure to count all the pieces
First and foremost, be sure to count all of the hardware and shelves before your start. I was missing 2 shelves initially, but customer service sent them out right away. I received the replacement shelves only a few days later. Then, as I was assembling the cabinet I realized I was missing 2 screws, which I could have sworn I had initially, so perhaps they rolled under a dresser somewhere. It ended up not making a difference as I had extra of another screw which seem to have worked perfectly as my replacement screws. It's been a month, and nothing has fallen apart or broken off yet. I will update you if it does. It honestly seems pretty sturdy considering the price. I've paid more for Ikea furniture which fell apart as I was putting it together. Now for the assembly....It should be noted that I consider myself to be a fairly handy woman. While I agree that this would have been easier with a second person - mostly for attaching the doors to the hinges - I was able to assemble the cabinet on my own with little to no trouble. I wasn't timing myself, but it didn't take "hours" as some other reviews have mentioned. I used 2 screwdrivers, 1-long, and 1-short(er). My short screwdriver was not short enough at one point, but I improvised with your run of the mill house key and all is well. Again, nothing has fallen apart or broken off yet.My bathroom is small, with no storage. I looked at several different types of over the toilet storage, and this seemed the only thing that would work in my space. So far, I am really enjoying it. Perhaps there's a bit of pride thrown in there because I built it myself, but it fits perfectly and looks great in my small space. With some creativity, it can hold quite a bit. I like that the shelves are adjustable, which allows for height differences in storing taller items. I don't use the dowels for the toilet paper as I have a toilet paper holder on the wall already, so I cannot report on how those work. All in all, I am very please with this cabinet. Should that change at any point, I will update my review.

Really functional
My bathroom is small and this works great in there. It does take longer than expected to assemble. But I would buy this again. No dislikes.

We went to Hershey Chocolate Spa and fell in love with the warm decor
I purchased this unit for my mother's Xmas present. We went to Hershey Chocolate Spa and she fell in love with the warm, espresso decor of the hotel and spa. Unfortunately, this unit did not come in espresso. So I went to Lowe's and purchased a 1 quart Spiced Wine paint (looks like espresso; once dried), PPG1016-7, by Olympic. I painted the unit and blinged out the knobs; also purchased from Lowe's. I purchased a bamboo plant (from Lowe's); a salt ball lamp from Wholefoods; and some decorative candles. Once finished, my mother's bathroom was looking like a spa. She's so happy that she can't stay out of her bathroom. Now I'm going to purchase the smaller version of this unit to put in my bathroom; this unit is too wide for my area. Weatherby Bathroom Over-the-Toilet Storage Cabinet - Improvements Overall, this unit was easy to assemble; my brother helped with the assembly. The paint dried on the wood very nicely; very smooth finish and I'm ready to transform my bathroom. Hope you enjoy the pics... I was very pleased.

Could be easier
Cabinet is packed well, but very difficult to assemble. A lot of the screws going in the sides don't leave enough room for a screwdriver. Even with a stubby Philips it is very hard to turn them. The screws for the back are very short and strip out immediately, could be done with nails better. The upper drawer hinge is not really explained and it is not easy to configure.Quality and weight is fine. Looks good when assembled.

Does the job just hard to put together.
It was so hard to put together almost three hours it took! It looks nice but what a pain in the butt... it does the job I wanted it for which was his all my bathroom things. And gives me more room for a small space.

Elbow grease + power tools = Eight Hours Later...
I waited months for this to come back in stock and I'm very glad I kept searching for it! I like how simple it looks and it's not bulky. It hides everything.First terrific thing about it is that I paid for 3-5 day shipping and the product arrived via fedex 2 days later! The instructions say that having 2 people works best but I didn't have that option so I propped it up against objects while I worked. It took a while but mainly because I used manual screwdrivers for 95% of construction. After I laid out the contents of the box, I got to work using two very small Phillips head screwdriver as instructed (not powered by batteries). I did pretty well with them (tho my hands were aching) until I had to put the back pieces on. I carefully laid the etagere face down and screwed the screws in as best I could. Then I took a hammer and gently hammered them. So much faster and easier! After that, I tried putting the doors and hinges together but found that I could not fully screw the screws in with the tools I had. It'd be impossible.I borrowed a friend's power screwdriver and that did the trick but I had a hard time getting the screws flush because the screwdriver was large and I couldn't fit it in the small cabinet spaces. But I got the screws as far in as I could and the doors are secure. This was the most confusing part of the directions. They don't illustrate how to place the hinges very well. I used trial and error and really only had the middle door's hinges on backwards.Overall, I love it and looks great. I understand some people are upset by the quality, but I knew from the description and cost what I was getting. There's a couple nicks here and there but I hid them pretty well. In my opinion, it doesn't look cheap.

Nice storage unit
This worked well for my 1/2 bath. It was easy to put together. The only challenge I found was my 1/4” round that made it so I couldn’t use the support bar or get it too close to the wall. It’s very sturdy anyway.
