the grater is ok over all. the only issue so far is that fine cheese on the in side edges gets moldy and comes out when used and looks like pepper mixed in with the cheese, this never happened with the pampered chef graters but we had 2 of those and they both broke so we got this metal one. iy looks like it will need to be clean and looked out more often than the plastic ones.

This grater serves its purpose but it feels awkward.

So far I've used this on cheese and cucumbers. It works great though a few pieces that arent completely grated slip through. All in all it makes prepping meals much quicker. Also it washes great in the dishwasher; no rust thus far.

I like that there are different sized grates that you can use and even with the interchangable parts, it's quite sturdy. We've been using this one a lot for parmesan cheese and it's holding up nicely.

I ordered one of these to grate potatoes. It is flimsy and poorly aligned. Consequently, it gets jammed every time I use it because food gets stuck in crevices around the grater. I have to pull it apart and remove stuck wedges just to finish grating a single potato.For an encore, the rotary handle is perfectly aligned with the fingers on your other hand, so if you're not careful the handle will scrape your knuckles every rotation.

If you squeeze this thing with any force, you will notice a grinding sound (look at other reviews). If you use a parmesan cheese, you will notice that suddenly your white cheese has what looks like "Pepper Flakes" in it.That's Stanless Steel shavings!This this is durable it's just got one major design flaw. I'm never going to use it again, I care about what I put in my body.

The grinder worked just fine -- one time only. It broke on the second use. The little clip that holds the cage in place fell off. In my opinion it has an inherent design flaw. The clip is acting as a spring, and it is spot welded to the cage. The weld is a weak point that will fail every time. Returning for a refund.

I like all the different graters that come with it. Now this is I think would just be used on small meals or small families. Cause you would have to constantly reload it. But it works for us 2 here.
