Delorme Arkansas Atlas

A great resource for planning and keeping in your car when travelling back roads. As someone who became accustomed to the older DeLorme style of thin red lines for roads, I find the new thicker, color-coded lines slightly less attractive. Another difference compared to my older gazetteers: points of interest have been consolidated into fewer categories; i.e., now almost everything is a "family outing" or "outdoor adventure." I also found the selections somewhat limited compared to what I had researched for my trip, but it's probably not much different than my other gazetteers, and I know they can't cover everything. Overall, I still used this purchase extensively on my trip though, and have loved the DeLorme series since I was a child.

I bought this laminated gazetteer as a gift for my brother-in-law, whose occupation as a forester takes him all over the state in all kinds of weather and conditions. He can mark the pages with dry-erase markers, toss the book in his filthy truck, let his dog drool on it, and still have a usable map for when he decides to mark the next great camping site or client's stand of trees.My one regret is that this gazetteer no longer marks old country cemeteries. Didn't they used to be marked 30 years ago when I first used the maps in this series?

When I bought this map I was driving log truck. Some of the places and roads you would never find on a regular map.This one had them all. I love maps. I pull them out just to study them sometimes. My home county has several communities and townships that aren’t here anymore. Never would have realized it without this map.

This is a fantastic collection of our states maps. Breakdowns for different areas and a nice list of sights and places to visit. Overall I couldn't be more pleased with this book

As advertised. Extremely detailed topographical and road map. My only complaint is its large size and the fact that some details such as railroad tracks are difficult to see.

My husband and I would never go on a driving trip without a Delorme Atlas. We love traveling the lesser known roads, the ones it on regular maps and the Delorme Atlas's get us there! They also provide insight to hiking trails , parks, sites to see and things to do. I find these as valuable as travel books! Thank you DeLorme!

Love the product. Easy to use and organized.

I am a fulltime RV'r and I ride a Gold Wing trike wherever I spend time. I like to use DeLorme's Atlas & Gazetteer to plan out my rides. I have been able to acquire Atlases for all my states, except for Arkansas. I thought I was going to do without until I found this one on Amazon. I am very pleased with my find.
