Very nice quality pain. Non-stick is excellent, heats up quickly on my gas range. The pan bottom is set up to use on a portable gas element so it won't slide off. The raised edges are a plus so the batter doesn't run off the edge. Instead of octopus (Tako) I used shrimp (Ebi) so you could call it an Ebiyaki pan. This pan is not for an electric/induction heat and clearly states this in the description. Perfect size for 2 to 4 people depending on how hungry they are. I cooked up 3 batches for my kids (5) and it was a lot of fun.

After having poffertjes in Amsterdam, I decided to try to make them. I bought the pan and the mix. The pan is easy to use. I have a glass top stove and it worked very well on the stove. There was a little bit of a knack to turning them but for the first time I made them they came out great. The pan is light weight and heats up quickly. It is very easy to clean. I used spray oil on it so they did not stick. Great Buy!

Have been using this pan eversince it arrived and I love it. Docked some stars because heat distribution in this pan is not even, but can make some adjustments. It's a perfect pan for my takoyaki addiction.

The media could not be loaded.  Just used this for the first time and the balls were easy to turn. They were smaller than I expected but that was okay for my takoyaki recipe. Smaller balls actually cook faster which means I could make more of them in the same time. Easy to use.Im washing it by hand and I have no idea about how long the non-stick surface will last.

This is perfect for aebleskivers or takoyaki. The size is just right and the heat distribution is just fine. It’s smaller than I expected, but the quality of the metal and thickness is just right. It’s easy to clean as the batter doesn’t stick to the pan.

The pan has a nice weight so it is very sturdy. It is coated so it is easy to clean. Make sure to use enough oil so the batter doesn’t stick. The heat distribution covers the square of the pan, so one row is missing heat. Still, it is a wonderful pan. My daughter and I had hours of fun making and eating takoyaki.

The pan came in good condition and was as appeared in picture. Quality seams good. Was a little smaller that what we thought, but for our purpose that is actually better. Bought it to use for food preparation for an upcoming family get together, so haven't used it yet. Interested to see how it will perform on our ceramic, glass top stove. Also was surprised the under side of pan isn't enclosed like a regular skillet, curious to see how that effects heat distribution and stability of pan on the cook top. Overall positive impression so far.

I love this pan. It feels substantial, not light and cheap. The coating makes it easy to clean. It browns the takoyaki quickly and evenly. It is fun to make takoyaki with my wife and son, standing around the pan, and with a couple of bamboo skewers in our hands flipping the great smelling, sizzling little dough balls. I would recommend this product.
