Makes a pond come alive
Does a nice job. Lights are beautiful at night and the spray gives the pond some action. Very easy to set up.

The media could not be loaded. I absolutely love this! Cleaned up my little pond in about two hours! The water is crystal clear now! The lights are very beautiful! I highly recommend this!

The water flow and stability of the base when it is running is good
It was delivered with a key piece missing. Luckily I had an old one I could use. With all the parts I would have rated it a 4. It is a pretty fountain with great power to move the water well. I am not a fan of the light as it abruptly changes color very fast.

Bad first impression - Antfraer RGB Pond Filters Kits with Fountain Pump Kit
I have not used this yet but I am already worried. It arrived in a bag (no box at all) most of the pieces fit inside the main piece but the instructions and other parts ( if indeed everything is there ) were thrown into the bag. I took it out to look at it and when I opened to look at the pieces inside, they felt like they were covered in sand. That makes me feel like I have another customer's rejected fountain. Does it even work? I do not know yet but I wanted to make sure that I got my first impression down. I will update soon but so far, I am very disappointed!

Buy according to your latitude!
This solar pond fountain is available in 3 configurations: a 40W version, a 55W version, and a 70W version. You may be wondering, which one should I get? Do I NEED the biggest solar panel they have? Might the 40W version work for me?All good questions. I'm here to hopefully help answer them.Point blank, you should buy the version that corelates to what your physical latitude is. Which is to say, if you're in a location that gets more direct sunlight? You can use a smaller panel. If you're in a location that gets less sunlight? You need the bigger panel.I live in northern Ohio, and so the 70-watt panel is what I got. Given my location, I need the bigger panel because Ohio doesn't get the best sunlight during much of the year. If you live in Florida, Texas, Alabama, Louisiana, etc., you could use the 40-watt version no problem. Middle latitudes, such as Tennessee, the Carolinas, Kansas, Colorado, should check out the 55-watt version. Northern latitudes should definitely go for the 70-watt version. As far as the fountain itself, I love it. The pump box serves to isolate the pump from the "gunk" in your pond. It has filters, filter balls, and media all above and around the pump itself. By matter of fact, with all the filtration it has, it will over time do a good job of cleaning your pond water. That having been said, if your pond water is particularly murky, you may end up having to pull this from the pond once in a while to clean the media, as it will build up. But after a while, and as the water clears, you should have to do it less and less. Also, if your water is pretty murky, it may be a good idea to look into some water clarifiers, Amazon sells many different kinds, from chemical to enzymatic. This will help prevent frequent cleaning of your fountain. The quality of everything is very good. The water flow of the fountain is excellent and does a good job of aerating the water. I really like the fact you can adjust both the pattern with the 3 spray heads, and the adjustable flow means you can have as much or as little flow as you like. It's easy to set up and use, just make sure you have the solar panel oriented towards the sun as much as possible. For the quality you get, I think the price is reasonable, just make sure you get the version that works best for your location. 5 stars.

Pond Fountain with pump filter box and everything you need to create a fountain
This kit has absolutely everything you need for a small fountain in a Koi pond.I am using it for a bubble rock in my Koi pond. I attached 4 feet of hose and put it through the hole in the rock sunk this filter kit to the bottom and plugged it in. It’s doing great. In fact I had to figure out a way to restrict the flow because I had too much water coming out. Once I put a small clamp on the hose and a pebble over the top where the water comes out, it was perfect. The kit comes with everything you need to do what I did or for a traditional fountain. It has several different fountain heads to break the surface with a jet of water a showering fountain or even a giant bubble looking thing. The light is cool and gives a cool glow but is not for me. I may disconnect itIt comes with two layers of filter media that the water goes through. In my opinion, it doesn’t include enough. I filled in the void with more sponge tape material from old filter pads I had laying around. I would recommend adding more bio rings, bio balls, or do what I did with filtration material. Honestly, the absence of enough media to fill up this filter was the only negative encountered so farI did clean it one time as my pond as it’s very early in spring and we had an algae bloom. The pump slowed down a little bit only because there was a layer of green gunk stuck to the top. However, it didn’t slow a ton and all I had to do was spray down the filters on the top of the kit with a hose reassemble and throw it back in the pond. All in all, I’m very happy with this system. It’s doing what I wanted it too, and I recommend it.If something happens later in the season, I shall update this review

Its About The Battery
As anyone who has solar panels on their house will tell you, it’s about the battery. If you are looking for a continuous running fountain pump that is totally solar this is not the one unless you pair it with a good battery and possibly a bigger sized solar panel. If you do not care about it running continuously, but only intermittently then this is a good setup. The solar panel will need to be in direct sunlight even if you pair it up with a battery source, because the battery will eventually drain if its not getting enough sunlight. Since it does not come with a battery any loss in sunlight equals loss in pump output. I do really like the filter setup. It has many types and levels of biofiltration. You will still need to take care of solid waste via vacuuming or such because it is not setup to deal with solid waste, but it is not setup for allowing solid waste in unless you have very small fish. Overall, for what it is a think it’s a good system that has room for improvement.
