I ordered these Brother TN436 toner cartridges because our printer was warning about low toner levels. I left them sitting on the shelf because the old toner wasn't completely out yet. I went to use the printer this morning and saw my daughter had replaced the old toner cart with one of the new Clever Supplies cartridges (and left the packaging all over the place, grrr). We use Brother HL-L9310CDW printer, I asked her about it, she said the toner ran out last night as she was printing out her English essay, so she replaced it herself. Normally I'm in charge of all tech-related issues, so she doesn't have the most experience with this sort of thing, but the instructions were quite clear. She also said it was working great. I then printed out my own document and had no issues - print output was clear and sharp and there were no odd warnings from the printer itself. Based on all this, I would say these carts are easy to install, of good quality, and come at a great price. Same performance as brand name cartridge but less expensive. I have purchased different toners from this brand a year ago and have always been pleased with them. The customer support at Clever Supplies is excellent as well. They will fix any problem quickly. I highly recommend this company and product.

I carefully read many reviews about these toner cartridges and based on the good reviews and rave reviews about Clever Supplies customer service I ordered. First set of cartridges were fine. Second set about halfway through started leaving blobs of ink on every copy. I have been trying to reach Clever Supplies for about 2 weeks now. Their main number rings and has a message but no matter which option you push the call goes to dead air. Apparently there is no customer service. I already had ordered a 3rd set of the cartridges so thought I would do my own trouble shooting. The Cyan, Magenta and Yellow when lifted up out of their slots were dropping clouds of powdered toner. I cleaned up the mess and replaced with the new cartridges. I'm hoping I can just write the 2nd set off as defective but very disappointing that they have no customer service.

The print quality of the toner is good for me- I just use this printer for invoicing & general printing. I have had issues 2 times with the Yellow cartidge and once with the Cyan cartridge not being recognized by the printer & I had to rush & purchase a new cartridge from Office Depot. That being said the cartidge set is still cheaper than buying 1 Brother cartridge. Also the toner for me lasts about as long as the Brother toner. I just buy 2 or 3 toner sets at a time now so I don't have buy the Brother cartridges. I will give them a 5 star rating if they can fix the problem with the toner not being recognized by the printer

We are happy with the product and the print quality that we get; however, when we opened the magenta cartridge in our last delivery, the cartridge did not have the orange clip attached to it, and it either got dried out or it's empty, as our printer says it's empty and won't print with this cartridge installed. The blue and yellow were fine. We buy a little ahead so that we don't run out, so our window for return closed a couple of weeks ago. And we wouldn't have returned it all--just magenta.

This has become the only brand I use for toner, I've ordered several of their SKUs several times. For this particular item, I've gone through 3 sets. I've had no issues with any of the sets I have received. I did have a separate purchase for one black toner cartridge that was faulty, but I was able to contact Clever Supplies and quickly sent out a replacement. Will continue to be my go-to for reasonably-priced toner!

There is no easy way to recycle the cartridges, they just leave it up to you to figure out what to do with the empties, unlike other brands (HP, Brother, etc.) who provide return address labels or at least allow you to print labels from their website.

We've been ordering from Clever Supplies for several years now. We find they have a very fair price for their toner. They are new and not re-manufactured, which we appreciate. Also, when we've needed their support, they've always responded promptly. We do recommend them.
