Now we feel comfortable leaving her alone to watch her favorite TV shows while we clean another room or prepare dinner. If she gets up, we know and can come right away to ensure she doesn't wander off or fall. Talk about peace of mind!

This bed exit alarm is simple to use and functions fairly well. The alarm pad seems to be very good. The controller is a bit out-of-date and uses very old technology. Most of all, the alarm is high pitched, which may be fine for young nurses, but is a challenge for older caregivers. Setup is straight forward. As far as I can tell, there is no silent way to de-activate the alarm before assisting the patient in exiting the bed. Also, it would be helpful to have a visual indicator of status, rather than depending on depressing the control button and waiting for four beeps. In summary, it works, but is pretty rudimentary.

The bed alarm works, but the volume is a little loud. Wish you can adjust it.

My dad set off this alarm every time he tried to get out of bed. It was loud enough and worked the way we expected.

Does what it is supposed to do, but it is not very loud, and it feels cheap. My alarm broke after a couple drops on a wood floor. If you do buy this product, keep the alarm in the case for protection. I have spent a bit more and got a couple good quality bed alarms.

I am very disappointed in this product. I purchased this in mid September. My grandfather who I take care of who requires 24 hour care tries to get out of bed by himself at night. I now have to order something else because this product has already died on me. I changed the batteries 2 times and the alarm went off on its own last night and woke my grandfather and myself up! He was in the bed sleeping!! Needless to say i will not be purchasing another one of these alarms. Wiring is faulty and only lasted a little less than a month.

Perfect for the bed for my Mom. She gets off the pad and it goes off. Can hear the beeping from 2 rooms down. Can sleep better knowing when she gets up, especially during the night. Haven’t tried it on a chair but I’m sure it will work as well. Love it!
