Good value for money :-)
Hi I've had this for about 3 months and I'm happy with it it's not the most powerful unit on the market but for the price it's very good . It has 3x50 watt in the soundbar and 150 watt sub woofer ! It has a nice bass feel to it and has 3 preset modes music, movie and news I keep mine on movie as I feel this is the best setting !!Theres a few negative comments on here and I dont know why they are as bad as they are mabey the people are just venting there lifes frustration lol :-) Enjoy if you get 1 ! A loud unsophisticated sound-system that is simple to set-up and to use
Sharp Corporation is a long-established Japanese electronics manufacturer taking it's name from one of it's first products – the Ever-Sharp mechanical pencil - that it produced over 100 years ago; the company is now a subsidiary of iPhone-maker, Foxconn. This Sharp HT-SBW260 soundbar and subwoofer is a good choice if you are looking for a powerful sound from your TV without too much hassle setting up and not too many features to overwhelm you in use. If your TV has an ARC-enabled HDMI port (Audio Return Channel) that is the one you should connect the soundbar to, otherwise you can use an optical TOS Link or even a 3.5mm jack auxiliary audio output. This is a 3.1 system meaning that you get left, right and centre channels from the bar (the “3”) and one subwoofer channel (the “1”), this is a bit better than similar priced 2.1 systems where you don't get a dedicated centre speaker channel. The subwoofer has the convenience of connecting wirelessly, so you can hide it away with no trailing cables, and the whole configuration can also be used as a loud Bluetooth speaker system for playing music from your Smartphone or Tablet – great for parties but perhaps not for your neighbours! Not a bad sound-system for around two hundred pounds and if the lack of extra features and the design of the remote control don't bother you then this should give you all the volume you need – but perhaps also more bass than you want.

Fuss free, lacks fine control but great value
This is a powerful soundbar which needs no complicated setup to get working - however, that is going to either be a pro or a con, depending on your own temperament.Having a wireless sub means you can hide it away if necessary. For me this was automatically paired to the soundbar.I connected the soundbar to the TV using an optical lead, and that was it. There's nothing else to do really. You can select one of three sound options which moderate the bass somewhat. On the NEWS setting the bass is at it's lowest, on the MOVIE setting the bass can still be quite booming, most noticeable during dialogue. The MUSIC setting has the highest bass setting and is perfect for your club bangers.Connected seamlessly to my Moto G6 as well for Spotify, though strictly as a Bluetooth speaker, you aren't casting to an inbuilt app on the soundbar so you need to keep the phone in range.Clearly built to a price and lacking any kind of fine control over the bass (you might try placing it on a rubber/foam mat to further dampen the sound, particularly if you have it near a shared wall with your neighbour), but incredibly easy to get going and very cheap for the volume it can put out.
