Deco Brothers Vanity Mirror with Stand 5.65-Inch Double Sided, 8X Magnification, Nickel

I recently broke my Grandmother's porcelain dresser size stand mirror while packing for my "downsize" move. After having an item so long you don't realize how much you used the item!The older mirror only had a 2x magnification, I am guessing. This 8x's magnification is a must have if you are at that age when reading glasses or permanent glasses are required! I can't believe how much easier it is for me to see my eye makeup application. For years I was not seeing precisely what I was doing. Not being aware of the difference a higher magnification would make for me. I now can see those tiny eyebrow hairs and of course the facial hair I was not aware that I had. Warning: Order your choice of facial hair remover at the same time that you purchase this mirror if you are like me and did not have a high magnification mirror, you will be embarrassed when you see just how many facial hairs that the world has seen in the sunlight you didn't know were there!The price of the mirror when compared to the weight and sturdy construction is amazing. I looked at many, settled on this one, and am pleased that I did.It's pretty in a chrome version, the base is a nice touch. I miss the beauty of the my antique mirror as it was hand painted porcelain, but price wise, it is the perfect replacement.Further, although it is made extremely well, the weight is not too heavy to use the non magnify to hold up and make sure (in my case), my french braid is straight when I am done.It is a size that is just right for me. But in addition to allowing it to sit on the stand for my make up it is the correct size for picking up to view the back of my hair.A good choice, in my opinion.

I gave this a 5 star because it is lovely, heavy, does not knock over easily, very good quality on both sides of the mirrors and a great price. It has a slight brushed affect on the silver..Very pretty.

I got this to have on the vanity of our main bathroom. I like the size as it fits beteeen the sinks and doesn’t take up much room but is.handy when you need it. The 8x magnification is just right for make up or grooming and the brushed nickel finish matches our faucets. A perfect find for us!

Beautiful in my bathroom and works super well. It is a bit smaller than the usual size, thus I took a star away. It's made very well and does look and work wonderfully.

This mirror is lovely. It is quite tall so make sure you take a look at the dimensions. It is perfect for us. It matches nickle or stainless fixtures. Love this one!

The picture makes it look like the “stem” part is longer than it is. It’s actually short. It’s still attractive so not sure why the difference in hight.Heavy and solid feeling. It’s not gonna be as easy to use as a hand mirror, which is what I set out to buy, but this one just looked so cute. I’ll probably still need to buy a hand mirror 🙄. Plus this takes up room on your bathroom counter. But like I said it’s nice looking. And boy is that magnification side shocking!! Don’t look there!!Got it in one day and was packaged very well in two boxes. You have to screw the two pieces together but that’s super easyPrice was reasonable for what you get. I do like that one day shipping thing... why can’t everything arrive that fast?Update: ok stupid me! I didn’t see the part of the “stem” that makes the mirror tall! I thought I just got the short version. Once I got that put on my mirror looks just like the picture. And it’s easier to hold too. I liked it either way.

It’s lovely to look at and very sturdy. Looks great in my bathroom. It is not light weight and wouldn’t be good as a travel mirror but it wouldn’t be sturdy if it weighed less. I’m happy with my purchase and I think the price was reasonable for what you get. Came packaged very well and was easy to put together. I would buy it again.

This is a basic, essentially functional tabletop mirror, just fine for checking the back of your hair, and other tasks you might otherwise use a hand mirror for. Not as heavy or sturdy that I was led to understand by other reviews I read before deciding to buy it, so rather disappointed in the overall quality of this item. I have purchased other higher-end tabletop mirrors recently and have a good basis of comparison in making my judgment on this mirror. It is not that this is bad mirror, not at all. Rather, it is not the solid, heavy item I was looking for. For the price, it will meet my needs well enough and I will use it. I will continue, however, to look for a better quality smaller mirror as I was led to believe this one would be to fully satisfy my needs.

This mirror is heavy. Could not be knocked over easily. Mirrored surfaces are good quality, though the X8 magnification is a little scary! I highly recommend this product. It is pleasing to see on a bathroom counter. Have used for only a short time, but do not anticipate having issues with it.

I love this mirror! I bought it for my daughter's desk and it is super cute. The base is sturdy and heavy, and the 8x zoom mirror is great for doing your brows.

I am so pleased with this mirror. It was a very good choice from amongst all the mirrors to choose from. The magnifying at 8X is great and the size at 6" across is really good, not too big and not too small. It's also very stable and great value overall.

Well packaged. Good quality. Very sturdy and easy to put together.

This is a heavy sturdy mirror, but the non-magnified side still magnifies, so face looks weird. I just use the magnified side which is very strong.Would give 5 stars for the magnifier, but took off 2 because the other side is kind of useless.
